The square is home to Alexander Calder’s monumental from the Beaubourg piazza, as well as a children’s playground.

Since its renovation, the Verdrel Square has found its place in the Rouen landscape. It now opens onto the surrounding streets and gives pride of place to the Musée des Beaux-Arts square, thus extending the space of the Marcel-Duchamp esplanade. Don’t miss the opportunity to admire Alexandre Calder’s monumental Horizon, a 5-metre high mobile that came straight from the Beaubourg piazza. The children’s playground, the flowering fountain and the charming alleys are the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
