Hundreds of thousands of works, objects and documents transport visitors back to the century.

Housed in the Maison des Quatre Fils Aymon, the museum showcases the history and development of schools from the 16th to the 20th century, including a reconstructed classroom from Jules Ferry's school and numerous period objects. Temporary exhibitions are also scheduled, such as "Fantastique physique!" which runs until September 30, 2026. The museum also offers guided tours and workshops for children.

Beau sujet -l'histoire de l'éducation- dans une très belle maison, en plein centre-ville, sur 3 niveaux. Le personnel est accueillant, et l'entrée est gratuite. Dommage de ne pas y aller. Et il n'y en a pas deux comme celui-là en France.

Le cadre est agréable, les demoiselles à l'entrée sympathique et le musée nous permet de se rendre compte de la chance qu'on les élèves maintenant de travailler dans de bonnes conditions
