Church in Rouen with a magnificent example of Gothic architecture and an organ used in a concert today
The abbey church was built between the 14th and 16th centuries. Its proportions are imposing, to say the least: 137 m long and 26 m wide. The fifth church to be built on the same site, it was the work of Abbé Jean Roussel, who began construction in 1318, a project that would last three centuries! It's a magnificent example of Gothic architecture, but its masterpiece is inside: the organ built by the great Cavaillé-Coll in 1890 is still in use today, notably for concerts. Restoration work is scheduled for completion in 2024.

Elle se dresse au centre de Rouen à côté de l'Hôtel de Ville et se distingue par sa grandeur et sa beauté gothique, avec une incroyable attention aux détails.
Extérieur étonnant et intérieur typique avec de grands vitraux et de hautes arches.
Cet ancien monastère bénédictin dont il ne reste que l’église abbatiale est un exemple somptueux de l’architecture gothique de Rouen.
