Located in the heart of Rouen, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame Cathedral, Galerie Uchiwa invites you to a refined plunge into Japanese art. This gallery-boutique, run by Valérie Hanoteaux and Isabelle, presents a unique collection of prints, ranging from masterpieces of the Edo era to contemporary creations of the XXᵉ and XXIᵉ centuries. Discover works signed by Hokusai, Hiroshige, Utamaro or Hasui. Fine Art reproductions are also on offer. Here, each piece is meticulously documented, providing you with precise information on the artist's signature, the series, as well as the elements needed to contextualize it. The store also offers a vast array of traditional Japanese objects: vintage kokeshi dolls, fans, lucky maneki-neko and Nō theater masks. What's more, Uchiwa Gallery has a well-stocked bookshop area.
