Want to relax without injuring yourself? To sweat without dripping? Do you want to do fitness, gym or biking without putting your joints in jeopardy? We have tested for you a brand new water fitness centre! Open in Rouen, Swimcenter offers fun courses for adults and children. In a small 1.20-metre-deep pool, you will be able to come alone or with others to attend different sessions: Aqua’aero (fitness in water and music that favours reinforcement and toning), Aqua Cycling (to strengthen and work on cardio), Aqua’Fast (a mix of biking and aerobics). No doubt, the body works hard! Under the colourful and lighting lights, a coach with a microphone guides you through all sorts of movements to music, without giving you a minute’s rest. Know that there are also Aqua’Pleasure courses to overcome water phobia and build confidence. There are several sessions to introduce babies to water, others dedicated to the awakening and learning of 3 to 5-year-olds, or to initiate those over 5 years in new movements and coordination in the pool. Adult courses last 45 minutes and children finish after 30 minutes. The only small drawback: a few changing cabins are missing. Remember to book your sessions in advance, either online or by telephone. This way, you won’t risk showing up to find out that the session is full.
