Château in the style of the Second Italian Renaissance, retracing the Battle of Normandy through objects and photographs
Château du Taillis, a listed historic monument, was built between the 16th and 17th centuries in the style of the second Italian Renaissance, in a large park. Its stables house the Musée Août 1944, "L’Enfer sur la Seine", inaugurated on June 6, 2004, to mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day. Through patiently collected weapons, uniforms, objects and photographs, experience the final days of the Battle of Normandy, as well as the Liberation of the Seine Valley. An escape game will plunge you into this little-known history.
