Created in 1983, the Groupement des Eleveurs Girondins (GEG), the only production cooperative with a departmental vocation, now has nearly 150 members (120 cattle breeders and 30 sheep breeders) in the Gironde department. Their motto? " From the fork to the fork "! In addition to fine meats, you will find home-made delicatessen products in Créon. The little extra? The possibility to buy your meat in half-wholesale with boxes of 5 to 10 kilos.
