For a long time, the main scourge against which the pump guards of the 18th century, and later the firemen, fought was fire. Then, as life evolved, new risks appeared and their missions expanded. The Jura Fire Brigade Museum presents numerous vehicles, materials and equipment used from 1850 to 1980 to help victims of all kinds of plagues and accidents. It is dedicated to Pierre Morisot, inspector of the Jura departmental fire and rescue service, who died in service on 29 November 1972.
