Musée de la marine particulièrement décevant, qui s’apparente plus à un musée de la maquette de bateaux qu’autre chose…La scénographie est absente, les informations sont éparses, manuscrites et ridiculement petites, les vidéos de contextualisation sont très rares, pas de salles spécifiques, ni d’écran dignes de ce nom, la présentation relève du bazar , tout s’entrechoque sans lien avec l’ambition de tout vouloir traiter en le traitant mal… vraiment dommage pourtant il y a matière (les bateaux transatlantique , le port de Bordeaux , la conquête des pôles…), je ne vois comme explication qu’un manque de moyens et d’ambition. Ce musée ferait bien de regarder ce qui se fait de réussi sur le territoire national (musée Eric Tabarly à Lorient, musée national de la marine à Paris…) Bordeaux mérite beaucoup mieux qu’un musée qui présente ses œuvres comme un musée des années cinquante.

It’s a great museum it’s not very expensive it has great scale models and very detailed work the shark statue outside is also very detailed and cool. It also has a fossil area with a big polar bear statue
