The building that houses the Judaïque pool dates from 1936. Restructured and renovated in 1996 and again in 2011, it is classified as a historical monument. Its architecture cleverly mixes modernity and interwar decor with its large windows and original changing rooms. The accomplished swimmer will appreciate doing his or her laps in one of the 8 lanes of the Olympic pool. The pool also has a second, smaller 25-meter pool. The roof opens when the weather is nice, allowing for swimming in the sunshine.

Surprising as it may seem, you can canoe, kayak, pirogue or even stand-up paddle on the Garonne. With its pontoon and slipway, this associative nautical club based at the Chantiers de la Garonne also offers surf training and outings on the ocean. As a member of the club, you'll soon be able to master sea oars and paddle boards! From the clubhouse, you can also take advantage of the breathtaking view over the Garonne to enjoy a beer brewed by the Brasserie de la Lune, which shares the premises.

From April to November, the CitySurf shuttle takes you surfing from Bordeaux. Managed by surfing professionals, the school has been awarded the "Ecole Française de Surf" label and accompanies you to the ocean to learn to surf or improve your skills. You can find the team at the Boardriders store or directly at the Garonne beach in Cap-Ferret, where lessons are given every weekend during the same period. Closed since 2014, the Galin swimming pool has (finally) found its swimmers and splashers! The cabins have been replaced, the pool linings changed, the facades reworked, the exterior concrete treated and the roof refurbished... The Galin pool, which has been awarded the " Remarkable contemporary architecture of the ^20th century" label, boasts a number of new features designed to enhance user comfort, including the creation of a planted outdoor deck, water games for children, a 50 m² paddling pool and a fitness room.

Completely renovated in 2007, this swimming pool is located in the Grand Parc-Chartrons-Paul Doumer district. It has been designed to comply with HQE (High Environmental Quality) standards, in the choice of materials used for its implementation and in terms of energy and water management. The pool water is heated by solar panels on the roof and treated by an ultraviolet system that dechlorinates it. A forecourt was created following the demolition of its main façade. The first swimming pool in the region to be equipped with a surveillance assistance system to prevent drowning, it is equipped with cameras that monitor the behaviour of swimmers, a 25-metre pool with 8 lanes, a learning pool with a counter-current river and a paddling pool with a playground. The outside area is a green area for sunbathing and sunbathing. Please note that during the short school holidays, the schedules are different. The swimming pool has the Tourism and Handicap label.
