Chess clubs Bordeaux

Bordeaux Echecs is the chess club of the Union Saint-Bruno community center. The club has been affiliated to the French Chess Federation (FFE) since 1992. Enthusiasts of all ages and levels come to play, either as a hobby or in organized team competitions. Qualified chess instructors give lessons to members in a variety of formats: group lessons for youngsters and adults, as well as private lessons on request. The association also offers introductory courses for schools.

Since 2004, amateurs meet in the heart of Bordeaux, rue Buhan, in this place dedicated to the practice and teaching of chess. Open during the week, this club wishes to offer to all a pleasant playing environment, whether you are an amateur or a competitor. Here, you will find three stone playing rooms in which you can practice. Lessons are also organised by a qualified instructor for all levels, from 6 years old: initiation for beginners, improvement and competition for experienced amateurs.
