Museum-school that will bring back memories to some in Château-Chalon.
Like many, the school has closed. But the municipality and the Friends of Château-Chalon are reviving it as a school-museum, with the teacher's platform, the sloping desks, the blackboard on an easel, and even the donkey's cap... Memories of the 1930's are awakened here, of "lessons of things" and other apprenticeships... The schoolchildren's clogs are drying under the stove from the Baudin forges, as the Jura is obliged to do. A return that will bring back memories for some and surprise others. Sometimes, you can even take part in a dictation with a pen, with full and untied words!

Si vous passez à Chateau Chalons, passez par l'école est vous allez passer une mémorable replongée dans le temps.
Nous sommes venu en hiver, alors que fermé habituellement, la guide nous a appris qu’elle le faisait bénévolement, cela montre bien son investissement pour nous faire redécouvrir l’école de l’époque.
De plus, ces explications étaient très intéressantes, le lieu est authentique et magnifique.
