Ranked in the top 5 of our best chocolate makers, Edouard Hirsinger is the4th generation to perpetuate this chocolate dynasty. If he is the author of many seasonal creations, he has not forgotten those of his grandfather and great-grandfather, the Galet and the Tous t'chefs. The cakes are also marvellous, such as the Arboisien, the Monaco, the Régent and the Damier (the customers' favourite). The shop is sober and chic and is spread out on a terrace in good season. With a little time, you can also visit the workshop-museum of the origins.

Je rejoins certains avis, de passages tous les 2-3 ans à Arbois, l expérience client est médiocre, l accueil est condescendant et m a laissé de marbre, amateur de bonne pâtisserie française, j ai été souvent déçu vu le prix et la taille des gâteaux...certains ne méritent vraiment pas leur réputation, en tout cas je n'y remettrais pas les pieds.

De passage j'ai acheté deux Monaco dont ma fille aînée raffole.
Rien à redire sur la qualité légendaire de la pâtisserie et des chocolats.
Par contre la qualité de l'accueil des dames assurant le service est à revoir. Elles ont certainement une formation à suivre au niveau de l'accueil client aucun sourire, ton sec et agacé parce que je me suis permis de poser deux fois une question.
Je regrette l'amabilité bienveillante de Mme Hirsinger mère.
