Castle housing the Institute of the Wines of the Jura and the museum of the Vine and the Wine whose visit begins with the vine-exhibition.
The château was once part of the fortifications of Arbois. It now houses the Institut des Vins du Jura and the Musée de la Vigne et du Vin. A visit to the museum begins in the gardens, with a vineyard exhibition featuring the different Jura grape varieties and wine-making machinery. Inside, you'll discover the work of winegrowers and their tools, some of which date back several centuries: crusher, press, barrels, corking machine, wine capper, etc.
