Spacious and elegant guest rooms in a former convent with a refined decor and a swimming pool.
Open in a former 17th century convent, these guest rooms are located in the centre of Arbois. Neal Rosenthal took them over in the spring of 2018, imprinting his spirit of "authenticity, intimacy and elegance" on them. The building has been tastefully restored, the interior with reassuring pastels. The rooms are spacious (30 m² for doubles and between 50 and 70 m² for suites). Same for the bedding all in 160. Refined decoration: white and grey tones, brick red, aniseed green or mauve, flowered voltaire, four-poster beds and ultra-design bathrooms. The common rooms also exude good taste: patio in exposed stone, small garden with a pretty swimming pool, solarium, lounge/library and an old wine press which houses a small shop. Breakfast is served by the pool if the weather is nice or in a lounge on the garden side. Top of the range but well worth it.

The other rooms are also individually furnished and lovely. Breakfast was worth leaving our lovely suite for , fresh local produce served with such grace.
The quiet, fragrant gardens, pool and sauna all provide a time for relaxing and detente.
My only comment - a small coffee machine in the room would have been the icing on the cake!
