Walls is located as a sentinel on a promontory of the Vaucluse Mountains. Its altitude ranges from 500 m. in the village to 850 m. at the Col de la Ligne. By walking through its streets, you will have the opportunity to discover the birthplace of Crillon the brave on the church square and the th century castle overlooking the village. There are also numerous workshops on the size of the silex (arrows, scrapers, mallets), witness of a strong prehistoric activity at the scene. Its surrounding landscapes reflect the genius of adapting man to the constraints and possibilities of his natural environment: mountain farming, forest exploitation, centuries-old oak trees.
