The little bakery on Rue des Bouchers cultivates its old-fashioned spirit inside and out. Here, ancestral methods and gestures are scrupulously respected to produce doughs and breads with an authentic taste and inimitable crispness. But at Pain de nos ancêtres, it's the homemade gingerbread that's the talk of the town: a beautiful brown color, perfectly spiced and as moist as a cake. You'll also find a wide selection of viennoiseries, sweet and savoury tarts and speciality baguettes.

Une petite boulangerie qui vous rappelle qu'autrefois, le pain n'était pas industriel, congelé puis décongelé, élastique comme du caoutchouc ou dur comme du bois. Ici, , vous pouvez vous acheter un sandwich roboratif pour 2,50 €, soit la moitié du prix d'un sandwich SNCF. Ajoutez 1,50 € et faites vous plaisir avec une généreuse part de tarte faite maison avec des produits de saison. Bref, Le Pain de nos ancêtres, c'est l'anti-chambre des boulangeries industrialisées du type "Chez Paul" et de plus vous serez accueilli avec un plaisant sourire et ça, ça n'a pas de prix !
