Located just a few metres from the market in Wazemmes, Le Biplane is one of the privileged places of the artists and amateurs of conviviality in the centre of Lille. It is a double room (theatre and concert) Lille which has been managed since 1998 by the Night Theft association. In total, there are no fewer than 60 volunteers each day to ensure the operation of the establishment, its programming, the reception of the public and also artists. Artists can be seen from all walks of life. Concerts take place in a small vaulted cellar, for an intimate moment with the artists and the public. A time out of time.

The biplane consists of a small room in concert in the basement and a theatre on the ground floor. The whole team is composed of voluntary giving their person so that the continuous place to exist and perform quality.
It is a very nice with live music almost every evening and regularly Tuesday beef blues or folk place where everyone comes with its instrument. The programme varied and cheap really allows you to discover many artists!

For a few years Le Biplan has known some money worries, it should not be supported this room so that it continues to tour the Metropolis.
Function room welcome theatre, concerts, impro, dance... as many shows that allows you to vary the programme.
The evening is often divided into two parts, the first starts around 20:00 with a show for then continuing on a concert part in the cellar.
Remember to arrive early because the space is small enough for what is held there!
