Le Métropole is one of those cinemas that has a soul and is determined to preserve it. It's one of Lille's must-see arthouse cinemas, recognizable by its colorful facade. On the program: independent auteur films from France and around the world, as well as shorts and experimental works... All in an establishment that has retained its neighborhood cinema feel, with its small size and intimate atmosphere. Since 2019, the Métropole has gone under the UGC banner, but it hasn't lost its quality!

Le Métropole, c'est un petit cinéma d'art et d'essai en plein centre de Lille, avec une programmation du tonnerre, une toute petite équipe très agréable, des salles intimistes. J'adore y aller car c'est un ciné à taille humaine, loin des complexes démesurés en vogue aujourd'hui. La carte UGC illimité permet par ailleurs d'y aller ainsi qu'au Majestic... que demander de plus ?
