A stone's throw from the Vatican Museums, this family restaurant offers specialities from Molise, a small area in the southern part of the peninsula. Taste I Criolo alla Valbiferno, spaghetti prepared with shrimps, zucchini and pancetta, stuffed squid and of course Tiramisu de Mauro. The oral osso is also very successful. This osteria is located near the fish market, the freshness of the products is guaranteed and the map makes the beauty of the sea. It is on the square of Campo dei Fiori, so necessarily very tourist, but prices remain reasonable, while the view on the square from the terrace is a luxury, the service is pleasant, the generous servings and the taste that of traditional local cuisine.

The top for fans of the true, crisp Neapolitan pizza. In 1995, Stefano Di Michele was awarded the title of better pizzaiolo in Europe. In the aftermath, he opened this place, not far from the Vatican. Today, its pizzeria welcomes a demanding Roman population that enjoys modern, colourful decoration and a relaxed atmosphere.

Il Pommidoro has been run by the same family since the 1920s. It is said to have been one of Pasolini's favourite restaurants when the San Lorenzo district was still a bastion of the Roman popular left. Today, we meet mainly students here, but Il Pommidoro has kept the same look as before. You will find dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar stew or rigatoni con la pajata, which, in Roman dialect, indicates a sauce with veal intestines fed exclusively on its mother's milk.

This tavern, with baroque appearance, likes to qualify as the first friendly restaurant in the capital. There is a typical kitchen with Mediterranean influences. The service is warm.

Next to the Campo dei Fiori, this traditional trattoria serves a cuisine for Roman gastronomy purists. The clientele is made of people who know Teresa well in cooking and her husband Mario in the room. The maison maison are only a few minutes away from the hotel. Reservation warmly recommended.

The restaurant has a terrace on the pedestrian street, very pleasant to enjoy the aperitifs of the house and the atmosphere of the neighborhood.

Also known as Da Ricci, after the family that has run it for four generations (Est! Est!! Est! is actually the name of a wine), this pizzeria near the church of Santa Maria Maggiore is one of the oldest in Rome. Once past the entrance, you'll find yourself in a pretty bistro-style room. On the menu: pizzas prepared Neapolitan-style, i.e. with thick, crispy dough, but also typically Roman pinzas .

A few steps from the Santa Maria Liberatrice Church and close to the Tiber River, this new, discreet restaurant offers a cuisine that revisits tradition with creativity. Elegant and refined, this is the place to meet for a nice evening in friends or romantic romantic dinner, with an excellent culinary experience. The kitchen offers a creative menu based on the products sought. Among the specialties not to be missed: the Tarte and Robiola delle Langhe pie with a cauliflower cream, the breaded lamb square and its meat boulettes on mustard sauce, and to finish gently a black chocolate clementine foam.

As for dessert, the house's speciality is perfect for crystallized orange and red fruits.

This small, cosy restaurant in the centre of the district owes its name to the owner, it signor Franco, known from early childhood for its character under the name Dar Moschino. The atmosphere is that of a neighbourhood bistro, and it offers good, well-cooked Roman dishes (like the Roman chicken and the guts). Excellent value for money.
