A stone's throw from the Vatican Museums, this family restaurant offers specialities from Molise, a small area in the southern part of the peninsula. Taste I Criolo alla Valbiferno, spaghetti prepared with shrimps, zucchini and pancetta, stuffed squid and of course Tiramisu de Mauro. The oral osso is also very successful. A good wine list (including Molise wines). Attentive welcome.

Food was excellent- we had the sautéed clams and muscles, breem with potatoes, pasta with clams tomatoes and mushrooms and finished with homemade strudel and the tiramisu.
Prices were extremely reasonable - our bill was under $70 euros and we had wine!
