They are very well equipped (modern bathrooms, air conditioning, wifi), with bay windows and outdoor terraces. You feel quiet but close to the centre. On weekend evenings, the restaurant is full to bursting with locals celebrating birthdays, a sign of the good, cheap, typically Sicilian food that we recommend. No breakfast, however.

Kate speaks English, Italian and a little Sicilian, while Davide speaks Sicilian, Italian and English.

But what a beautiful house! One is surprised by the audacity of the place and the huge teak terrace that surrounds a hacienda-style house, flat on the roof. In the entrance hall, an old Fiat 500 is displayed under the staircase, while the room with its checkerboard tiling and its wall of assembled doors is impressive. The lounges mix baroque furniture and street-art. Vegetation is omnipresent both inside and outside. Very spacious dormitories with nice flooring and brand new, super comfortable bunk beds. Superb bathrooms.

It is located on the windy spot of the Marsala lagoon and has a nice pool in its back garden. Children's games and cushions complete this lively outdoor setting. Family rooms are affordable, air-conditioned and en suite, while a more expensive upstairs room has a whirlpool on its terrace. Beware, lots of wind and mosquitoes in September and October.
