If you want to be in a good position, you should buy your tickets in advance and arrive 20 minutes before the show, as the hall is small and therefore quickly filled. It is a show in the tradition of the gypsy zambra, specific to the Sacromonte.

Above the convent of Santa Calina, in the Albaicín, this tavern with an excellent terrace overlooking the Alhambra prepares Granada and Andalusia cuisine based on jamón y queso and serves good wine. It is also the headquarters of a purist flamenco association, but curious about all kinds of encounters, which sometimes opens its doors to non-members on Thursdays for free concerts of excellent quality. Designed by the architect Don Miguel Olmedo, this theater was built in the late 1940s and adopted the structure of Italian theaters, which was maintained in the rehabilitation carried out in 1998. It is one of the references in flamenco gaditeño. Inaugurated in 1979, it pays homage to Antonia Gilabert Vargas, known as the Pearl of Cadiz, a singer more than revered by the city of Cadiz. After two years of closure, it reopened its doors in June 2022 and its Friday nights are among the most famous and attended. It also organizes competitions ofalegrías de Cádiz (specific dances) or tanguillos. Reservations should be made in advance.

This tavern prides itself on organising flamenco evenings and certifies flamenco puro. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (every day from July to September) there is a variable geometry group composed of two singers and dancers.

Dedicated to the son of the country who created the paso doble malagueño, this peña is the oldest in the city and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022. Since that time, when flamenco was not necessarily welcome, it has always endeavored to present both established figures and young artists in the making. In neo-mudéjar style (from the beginning of the last century) with a horseshoe-shaped interior, it is the pride of a large part of the population for its excellent musical, theatrical and film programming.

Located in the El Pópulo neighborhood, very lively in the evening, this "Pay Pay" is the oldest bar in Cadiz and has become an institution. In a red and black frame that resembles the visual codes of a theater café, it hosts a wide variety of shows and is a safe bet for tango and flamenco, as well as improvisations and monologues or book presentations. In the northern part of the city, placed at the plaza de Toros, it distilling good evenings for dancing (rumbas, sevillanas…) or to enjoy small flamencos concerts (weekends).

Near La Mezquita, in the evening, it is one of the few lively places in the historic district. There are mainly tourists who come to see flamenco shows, with singers, musicians and dancers. Built in 1871, it is the work of the architect Amadeo Rodríguez which was inaugurated in 1973 with the staging of the zarzuela "Marta". Closed in 1970, it has undergone various restructurings that have not affected its original configuration as a large Italian theatre. Classified as a property of historical and artistic interest in 1982, it is now owned by the City Council of Córdoba and serves as a majestic setting for most of the major events and shows on the municipal cultural agenda: theatre, dance, music, flamenco. Inaugurated in 1881, it replaced the former Calderón Theatre, located between Obispo Orberá and Juan Lirola calles, and became the main theatre in Almería. In which were performed many zarzuelas and works of theatre or opera, one of the great passions of the Almerienses at the end of the 19th century. After various renovations in the 20th century, which saw it used for other purposes such as cinemas, its reconstruction was undertaken in 1993, with the aim of preserving its original main façade.

This Casa del Flamenco is located in the heart of the Santa Cruz district and it is in the main courtyard of an old 15th century palace that it offers shows every evening. Arches, marble columns and coffered ceilings form a beautiful backdrop for enjoying traditional flamenco dances. Every night, two dancers, a singer and a guitarist perform various rhythms(palos) and a guitar solo. All with a natural and authentic sound, without any amplifiers.

Opening in 2021 and housed in the prestigious former Teatro Quintero, this newcomer offers flamenco shows that are visually interesting and at times highly innovative. But magic and passion will be on the agenda. All served up by a company of first-rate artists. If you've been seduced and would like to learn more about this art form, which is now part of UNESCO's universal heritage, this venue also offers courses in singing, dancing, guitar, castanets and percussion.

A 2 -minute walk from Plaza Nueva, the historic and cultural heart of Granada, Tablao Flamenco Alboreà has a traditional Andalusian flamenco show. Every day, for about an hour, a (E) singer (), a guitarist and two dancers interpret popular tunes on stage to offer a beautiful and memorable show. Artists belong to a gypsy renowned family Sacromonte and make us discover the different styles of traditional Andalusian flamenco. In a dining room that allows you to be closer to the artists, the spectators have the opportunity to sit in the steps but also in balcony in VIP area. The acoustics of Tablao allows you to fully enjoy a flamenco < i > a capella < /i >, natural and authentic.

Inaugurated in January 2008 and located in the old part of Jaén, it is a theatre with an avant-garde architecture of 5,000 m² whose volumes have integrated part of the wall of the Puerta del Aceituno, covering them with white stone. It is also one of the most technologically advanced in Spain and has a main hall that can accommodate 800 spectators. It is here that much of the city's cultural programming takes place: dance, classical and lyrical music, zarzuelas... but also congresses and conventions.

Built in 1926 by the architect Teodoro Anasagasti on the initiative of the Marquis of Villamarta, it was restored in 1996 to accommodate all kinds of activities: opera, theater, ballet, flamenco, classical music. It is also the venue for two of the city's most important cultural events: the Jerez Flamenco Festival (February and March) and the theater program of the Centro Lírico del Sur. When you arrive, you'll notice its modernist-style facade, with some Gaudinian reminiscences.

It is a place of reference to see exceptional flamenco. In one of the few remaining ecijanos patios in Seville, there is a spectacular stage with good sound quality and theatrical lights. The artists change every day, so you can discover "Alegrias" with the bata de cola, the mantón or the palillos, as well as a solemn "Seguiriya", a tragic "Taranto" or sensual "Tangos".

Near Calle Batalla de Salado, it is a bar, cafeteria and cultural creation area with a beautiful agenda.

At the head of this small multidisciplinary cultural centre in the Albaicín, with many member artists from all over the world, filmmaker Vincent Barniès shares with us his passion for the arts in general. Exhibitions in all directions, film cycles (Buñuel, Berlanga...), theatre and poetry, and then a lot of good music (world music). Located in the neighborhood of San Miguel, where Lola Flores, one of the references of flamenco, was born, this peña is one of the oldest and most regularly active. In order to satisfy the 150 or so members, its president, José Manuel Rodríguez, is committed to making it a place of expression for the younger generation, although it also welcomes more established talent. Most of the time, the concerts take place on Thursdays, but the outdoor patio also hosts afternoon concerts in the fall and spring.

In addition to a program of shows (dance, theater, music...), exhibitions and workshops, during the academic year, in summer it offers a relevant cycle of free open-air auteur films. From June to September inclusive, other cinemas de verano (summer cinemas) spring up all over Seville. Sessions generally take place at 8:30 or 10:15 pm: ask in the Giraldillo or simply take a look at the posters in the streets.

Created in December 1984, it bears the name of a local boy who became famous, Francisco Díaz García, Curro de Utrera for his artist name, considered to be the star of the fandango. For food and drink, a large space whose walls are full of souvenir photos, but also a space to host concerts which take place all year round and of course particularly at the time of the Festival del Flamenco del Mostachón, usually on the first Saturday in November. Numerous exchanges with other peñas help to keep the flame of flamenco alive and ensure that the younger generation continues to perform.

Here is a new show on the flamenco scene, but it is not unknown, as it is the show of the prestigious Foundation Cristina Heeren, which has more than 20 years of existence and is considered the best center in the world. Located in Triana, this theater shows prestigious artists of different generations, in a theater inspired by the style of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 and can accommodate up to 130 people. A place that we can only recommend because of the high quality of the singing, dancing and guitar playing.

Located at the foot of the Giralda and not far from the cathedral, this Seville flamenco center offers you the chance to attend a flamenco show in an intimate, family atmosphere. You'll appreciate the closeness of the participants, whether they're dancers, changers or guitarists. As well as the tradition and purity of the flamenco on offer. Once you're out and about, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to sampling tapas and Andalusian wines in the local bars.

In the heart of Santa Cruz, on the famous Plaza de Las Très Cruces, is the Tablao Flamenco Azahar. In this intimate and refined setting, you'll have the opportunity to experience all the emotions that flamenco can convey, while enjoying a glass of wine. Close up to the artists, you can enjoy a unique experience during a daily show lasting around 1 hour. You'll also appreciate the tablao 's decor, with its many photographs showing the art's distinctive movements.

In the gypsy quarter of Sacromonte, you'll find this Cueva de la Rocío, one of the first gypsy zambras, founded in 1951 by "Los Maya", one of the most important families in the world of flamenco. Originally a gypsy party venue, it now hosts the neighborhood's most authentic flamenco show. A visit here will allow you to combine the pleasure of discovering a magnificent cellar with a flamenco show featuring a gypsy wedding. Michelle Obama will have been among its visitors.

Founded in 1952, it was one of Seville's first tablaos, initially known as the Cortijo del Guajiro and home to such flamenco greats as El Farruco. In 1956, it became the Patio Andaluz , once again welcoming great artists such as Christina Hoyos and Chano Lobato. Since 1973, installed on the banks of the Guadalquivir, opposite the Triana district, it has offered an hour-and-a-half-long show featuring different flamenco styles, accompanied by the music of Falla and Joaquín Turina.

The aim is to create a magical link between the opera house and the palace-houses in Seville. Seville is home to a precious heritage of history and culture. That's why it now hosts opera concerts in three of the city's most emblematic venues: the Palacio de Las Dueñas, the Hospital de la Santa Caridad and the Casa de Salinas. It is in these magnificent settings that the world's three most famous operas will be performed: Bizet's "Carmen", Rossini's "The Barber of Seville" and Mozart's "Don Giovanni".
