Things to see and do Arizona

In the heart of Downtown, on the second floor of the Pioneer Hotel, this non-profit gallery was created in 2022 to support and highlight black artists. Its name, Blue Lotus, was given in reference to a species of Egyptian aquatic plant that thrives even in muddy, nutrient-poor environments to "create and bring beauty and wonder into the world". A symbol: effort. A fine selection of works.

Also based in Tucson, Wilde Meyer Gallery offers a comprehensive selection, from colorful canvases to bronzes and wood sculptures. Red cacti, paintings of the desert sunset, cowboys in the middle of a desolate landscape, Santiags sometimes golden, sometimes realistic, bulls in all shapes and forms... In short, another way of discovering Arizona, through the eyes of the artists represented. Large, almost overwhelmed by the succession of works, the gallery can easily draw you in for a few dozen minutes.
