Backcountry Information Center which provides permits for hikes longer than one day.

The Backcountry Office provides the necessary permit for hikes longer than one day. Applications for North Rim can also be made there. You can reserve or apply for your permit on site. Guests of Phantom Ranch Lodge who have made advance reservations do not need this permit.

Please note: The cost of the permit is US$10 plus US$12 per night per person or animal.
