The vastness of the La Plagne ski area offers a variety of routes to suit all levels, from families to sports enthusiasts. A trail guide is available from the tourist office for a fee. Take time to contemplate nature, the panorama from the summit, and the sight of a marmot along the way.

As its name indicates, this Green Lane evolves north of Chambéry. It connects precisely the city at the superb Lac du Bourget in Aix-les-Bains. If the final destination is to be reached, the journey itself is already a good show. You are in a privileged setting, under the gentle gaze of the surrounding mountains. In order to waste nothing, the smooth coating is also of excellent quality; fans of roller and skateboard quick. Finally note that the most motivated can continue north on 11 km of track along the shores of the lake, or to the south on the 3,5 kilometres crossing the city before joining the southern portion of the Green Avenue Chambéry.

The Vallée des Avals in Courchevel Moriond offers a pleasant family stroll, with a natural site designed for visitors looking for an ideal spot for a picnic or a stroll. The cool forest, torrent and sunny lawns make this short hike very attractive. On the way back, the chalet-buvette serves crêpes or organic specialties, and activity options include canoeing, via ferrata, fishing or forest adventure courses.

A good overview of a part of the Monts du Lyonnais, length 11 km, duration 3 h 15, average walkers, difference 390 m/790 m).

If you come from Chambéry, you can reach the Porte de Bush-Rond, starting point of this Green Avenue, through the 3,5 km cycle path that runs through the city. Are you there? Your journey will take you to Saint-Jeoire-Priory via the towns of Barberaz, La Ravoire and Challes-Les-Eaux. And there, beautiful views over the mountains and valley are your journey. Arriving at the destination, a roundabout route will take you to the lake of Saint-André through small roads, but attention: If the Green Avenue is feasible on foot or by bike, this second portion is more like a bike ride, accessible only to the two wheels.

In its long journey between Lake Geneva and the Mediterranean, Via Rhôna passes through you! But before you get to the 450 kilometres that stretch in Rhône-Alpes, here's what you're doing gradually! Between Loire-sur-Rhône and Condrieu, 20 km from the green lane await you along the right bank of the Rhône. With a smooth coating of good quality, the track is feasible on foot, cycling, roller and skateboard. And if you are still looking premature, you can of course shorten your journey!

Bordered by the Rhône in a green setting, Les Avenières preserved the authentic spirit of an undisturbed campaign. This small town is just a few steps away from the ski resorts of Savoy, the Rhônalpins lakes and the Monts mountains.

Hiking trails in the middle of poplar trees to the Walibi park, the many activities possible will seduce the most active as well as the quietest. From the top of the Devin Hill (291 m), the highest point of the town, a magnificent view of the Walkers. There are about clochers. The mountains of the Bugey, the Massif Massif, the Vercors summits and the soaring horizon, the snow capped peaks of the Alps, are distinguished.

This very easy walk on the Monts de Chambéry, in the heart of the Parc Piot which dominates the city, is an opportunity to escape a little from the city and to enjoy a little greenery to relax better. The Monts site offers a wide view overlooking the city of the Dukes of Savoy and a panoramic view of the Chartreuse massif. The itinerary alternates meadows and wooded areas and follows a health trail. The reward is twofold since two belvederes overlook the cluse of Chambéry. Good plan: enjoy the magic of sunset from up there....

The sylvatorium is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. You'll take a forest bath on a one-kilometer trail that will stimulate all your senses. Spas are installed: large wooden tubs into which you plunge clothed to immerse yourself in sounds (hearing), smells (smell), chromotherapy (sight) and electromagnetic communication (touch), not forgetting the taste with forest berries. The perfect way to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Educational panels help visitors learn more about the forest and its benefits.

Departure near the cross of Seignolles. Circuit sheet available at the Pays d'Urfé tourist office. The interpretation trail "Il était un chemin" (Once upon a time) aims at discovering the heritage of the Pays d'Urfé. It is punctuated with amusing explanatory panels to discover the local history, the flora and fauna as well as the richness of the landscapes and the Madeleine mountains. A picnic table allows you to finish the walk with a moment of relaxation and conviviality.

Departure: . plateau. Distance: 1,5 km, duration: 1 h. The discovery trail explains the secrets of the bog. With an area of 20 hectares, this marsh area plays an essential role in the regulation of water resources. Listed among Natura 2000 sites, the bog is a world to protect. If you have time, visit the Bison of the Madeleine Mountains, take a tour to the arboretum of the Grand Murcins of Arcons or go to the adventure at Les Cimes de Bécajat.

To reach the summit of the Grandes Platières and hike up to the Désert de Platé, simply take the DMC gondola, which lifts you up to 2,480 meters in twelve minutes. As you exit the gondola, a memorable panorama awaits you: the Fiz chain in the foreground, followed by the highest peaks of the Mont-Blanc massif. On a clear day, you can also admire the Aravis massif, the Dents Blanches, Belledonne, Vercors and Jura, but it's important to note that the cable car may close in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, so check before you come if in doubt.

In summer, the possible presence of snow requires adequate preparation. Experienced hikers will find numerous marked trails in the heart of the magnificent Désert de Platé, a limestone plateau dotted with lapiaz, fissures and potholes sculpted by glacial meltwater. This lunar landscape offers breathtaking views, but it's essential to be well equipped, as some of the rocks can be sharp.

To take the family back down to Flaine from the cable car, simply follow the signs for Tête Pelouse and skirt the slopes of Balacha. If you're lucky, a few chamois and marmots may turn up. In winter, the Cascades trail offers a tempting option: a 14-kilometer blue run to Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval!

At the south end of Annonay - route de la Roche-Péréandre - the direction of the "reception area of travellers" will take you to a very pleasant and wild road that accompanies the Rivière river halfway to the Rhone valley. The whole journey by car is a bit tedious, but cycling or walking on a part of the course will guarantee you a freshness of freshness.

Alternating of forest passages and agricultural parcels, with exceptional views on the plains of Lyonnais and the Dauphiné and on the Alps in fine weather. Length 21 km, duration 6 h 30, good walkers, difference 330 m/845 m.

This superb hike can start from the center of Villard, the Lycée Climatique or the hamlet of Les Clots. The various itineraries converge at the Roybon hut, situated at an altitude of 1,450 meters. The Col Vert is just above this hut. On the final ascent, you can admire the Roc Cornafion, which rises to 2,049 meters. As the climb is entirely on the western slope, reaching the Col Vert offers a different view: Taillefer, Oisans, Belledonne and Mont Blanc are all directly in front of us.

Ruoms is an ideal base from which to explore the southern Ardèche. While many visitors take to the water with swimming and canoeing, hikers of all levels will also be delighted. Starting from the town center or just a few kilometers away, numerous hiking trails criss-cross the region, offering itineraries for all levels and ages. Explore the mountain in a different way by following its many hiking trails, such as the Seven Chapels circuit or the Malpasset gorges. Spend a night in a refuge to admire the sunset and sunrise, offering magnificent panoramic views from the heights. With two-thirds of its territory located in the Vanoise National Park, this region offers a multitude of outdoor activities such as rock climbing, via ferrata, ski mountaineering and mountain biking. If you wish to discover Abrest and its surroundings, put on your walking shoes and walk along the hiking trail, set up by the association Galatée, between the bridges of Bellerive and Saint Yorre. You will discover the magnificent banks of the Allier and their natural heritage, among other sights. However, be careful, the route is still 22 km long, so it is advisable to be well organized in order not to be too far from your accommodation at nightfall!
