Things to see and do Valencia

This museum offers an interesting historic course through the breakfast rooms to prehistory, the Iberian culture, the Roman culture and the Middle Ages. Various spaces make it possible to contemplate old rooms of approximately 100 000 years, Iberian ceramics, a re-creation of the daily life at the time of Romans and more than de 300 objects dating from the Middle Ages. It in addition offers information on the archaeological sites of Lucentum, Petrarcos and La Illeta.

The city has 3 kilometres of beaches, the closest ones being those of Centro and Paradis. Near Torres Beach, in particularly crystalline waters, the archaeological site of the Saint Joseph Tower, known as the tower of Hercules, will be found.

Located in an ancient house typical of the Huerta region, this family association allows groups to discover this orchard through its fauna and flora but also the practices of the farmers via a small archaeological museum or proposals for circuits, to be done on foot or in carriage. At the discovery menu, you will be able to browse the old paths of farming, the old irrigation canals or discover the name and stories of the old farms (plana) or the remains of the Via Augusta, the ancient Roman track linking Valencia and Sagunto. Finally, you can enjoy typical Huerta products as this area includes a large restaurant.
