The town has a few small coves with crystal clear waters such as the Cabo Cervera, one of the most beautiful beaches in Torrevieja or Cala Ferris for divers. Note that the Higuera Creek has a wooden ramp, allowing easy access to the sea. On the beaches, the playa del cura is the most urban, so fully equipped. The city also has natural pools, a set of small piers forming a bathing area with beaches surrounded by rocks.

If Elche does not lack assets to visit, the city also has six beaches enjoying an environment of dunes and pine trees, very pleasant and quite exceptional on this coast. In the north, the three beaches, El Altet, Arenales del Sol and Carabassí are perfect for water sports, from the wind and the richness of the sea beds. This is the city's main attraction. In the north of the harbour, Levante beach is the best known and wide, approximately 2 km of fine sand. With all along, a sea promenade littered with terraces and restaurants and especially lively, especially in the evening. To the south of the harbour, you can find the beach of Poniente, which is about three kilometres long and has many places to relax or drink a drink, practically all year round. It should be noted that its promenade, works by architects Carlos Ferrater and Xavier Martí Galí, recreates the shapes of cliffs and waves to generate areas of shade and light. Between these two beaches, in a space that communicates with the old town, you find the little cove of Evil Pas and, in front of it, the island of Benidorm, on which you can go by boat and which is also a small paradise for scuba diving. Finally, at the far north of Benidorm, we can find, and yes, two small natural coves: It Ximo and the Almadrava, rather quiet since away from downtown and located in a rugged area, quite inaccessible. You can dive there because the rocky funds are quite interesting.

The city has a range of beaches that follow the coastline. To the north, the nearest to the city is Punta del Raset, followed by Les Marines - greater sandy beach - then the Bovetes, Els Molins, Alamadrava and Deveses. From the centre of Dénia, a bus allows you to regularly access the sea beach. To the south of the city you can access the Marineta Casiana, a sandy beach and then it will be the beginning of the rocky coves "Les Rotes", where one will notice the Cape of San Antonio, one of the most impressive landscapes in this region. The marine reserve of San Antonio is a protected area of great ecological value. A walk along the Rotes, on the other hand, is strongly recommended for scuba diving, a prior permit must be requested from the tourist office.

To gain the latter, a little more distant, you can follow the road of the observation towers of the coastline which gives you regular explanations on the points met and some stops at the strategic points (8 on the whole).
