Wéo, the television station for Nord-Pas-de-Calais, and now Picardy, appeared on the audiovisual landscape on 17 April 2009. Its programmes are 100% regional and deal with the daily life of the inhabitants, local cultures and traditions, the cultural and sporting life of the region, without forgetting the daily news appointments and the coverage of highlights related to the current events of the Hauts-de-France. Since April 2016, Wéo has been broadcasting in HD on DTT and satellite. As a symbol of this success, the Wéo Picardie channel was launched in March 2017 in Amiens.

FRANCE 3 PICARDIE

If Picardy no longer exists as such, the France 3 Picardy antenna remains. In addition to its traditional newscasts, the regional channel deals with local life with Tribune Nord , which brings together football fans, and the Picardy political Sunday (Sundays at 11.25am). The news is now extended to all the Hauts-de-France, notably with the programme Les Gens des Hauts (Sunday at 12.55 pm), presented by Kamini (who scored the hit Marly-Gomont), which goes out to meet the people who make up the region, or the programme Ensemble c'est mieux (Monday to Friday at 10.50 am), which provides concrete solutions to the daily problems of the inhabitants.

WEO PICARDIE

Local channel

A 100% local TV channel, covering the former Picardy region, is the challenge proposed (and succeeded) since 2017 by Wéo Picardie, Wéo Hauts-de-France's little sister. Based in Amiens, in the former premises of the Courrier picard, Wéo offers a wide and relevant coverage of regional news, through programs that go to the heart of local life. Reports, games, interviews: the editorial team offers a real insight into the inhabitants and their daily lives. Accessible via DTT or various Internet boxes!
