Each new issue of Fakir is a breath of fresh air on the print media horizon. Founded in 1999 by François Ruffin, the paper has been a great success in Amiens and throughout the country. On the front of the paper's website, you can read "Journal fâché avec tout le monde, ou presque" ("Newspaper angry with everyone, or almost everyone"). The tone is set, with editor-in-chief Cyril Pocréaux at the helm: a touch of humor, insolence and irreverence, and a choice of sharp, social and delicate themes, against the grain of mainstream media thinking. The website also features podcast and video categories to extend the reading experience.

Every year for the past 45 years, EDHEC students have published Le Chti, one of the most requested and awaited guides in the city. As its name does not indicate, Classic 21 is the Pop'n Pop radio of the RTBF. Its transmitter in Tournai covers Western Hainaut and broadcasts to the Lille Lille. Launched in 1989 in Lille, the free weekly cultural magazine Sortir has now developed in many cities in France and Belgium. Since April 2016, Wéo has been broadcasting in HD on DTT and satellite. As a symbol of this success, the Wéo Picardie channel was launched in March 2017 in Amiens.

Direct Morning Lille is a daily newspaper with most regional, national and international events. Precise, concise, neutral and practical, it is also free. You want to be a real Amiens ? Buy the Courrier Picard! Created in 1944 (yes!), this regional daily is now published in seven geographical editions (Amiens, Sud Amiénois, Nord Amiénois, Picardie Maritime, Haute-Somme, Oise and Aisne). Enough to satisfy all the ex-Picards! The articles focus on the daily life of the region's inhabitants, but also provide an overview of French and world news. Le Courrier Picard belongs to the Rossel-La Voix press group, so it is not unusual to read joint articles.

After Paris and Lyon, BFM, the national news channel, launched BFM Grand Lille on 3 February 2020. This is hardly surprising when you consider that Lille is the^4th largest city in France! Dedicated to the news of Lille and its region, BFM Grand Lille allows viewers to keep up to date with all the major local news events, the weather, public transport conditions, sports results, outings and leisure activities throughout the region. Available on DTT and box sets, the channel is also accessible directly on the Internet.

RTL2 has been based in the beautiful city of Arras for several years now. RTL2 is a music radio station broadcasting throughout France, and offers local coverage every day from 1pm to 5pm.
