Recently, the Hippodrome has joined forces with the Arras theatre under the Tandem collective. This structure forms the Scène nationale de Douai et d'Arras, de l'Arrageois et du Douaisis. In Valenciennes, theater is a historical tradition, so much so that it was nicknamed "the Athens of the North" until the beginning of the ^20th century! But in 1940, the theater of Valenciennes fell victim to a fire. It is only in 1996 that the work begins to build the Phoenix. In 2018, finally the theater in Valenciennes rises from its ashes (hence its name) and offers us a place in the shape of a huge red liner, with two rooms (750 seats or 170 seats), rehearsal spaces, an exhibition space and a restaurant.

Capable of accommodating 6,000 people, including 4,600 seated, the Zénith Amiens Métropole has been enriching the cultural offer since 2008 while strengthening the attractiveness of the former regional capital. Spectators benefit from privileged acoustics and visibility thanks to architect Massimiliano Fuksas, who has made the best use of the building's specific features. The Cirque Jules Verne is an institution in the life of the Amiens! Shows but also courses for children and adults. A good Amienois is not a good Amienois who has never practiced the circus! Beautifully restored, the Cirque is modular and can accommodate up to 1,700 spectators in the "circus" position and 1,400 in the "stage" position. It is one of the last permanent circuses in Western Europe (just that!), has a circular hall with a predominance of red and has very nice acoustics. This cultural place of the city is above all intended for the practice of music since it is located within the precincts of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional.
