An essential coffee shop! We drink a little coffee in the morning. There is a brunch on Saturday. It is restored at noon with a wide selection of sandwiches, pies, burgers… on site or to take away. Among friends at the time of tea, you can enjoy the exceptional coffees (cappuccino, spéculoos, macchiato caramel…), rare teas, and chocolate drinks that delight your taste buds. You can also opt for a freakshake (house specialty), a recruiter or a delicious. If you have a small dip, you will accompany your drink from homemade pastry. You are even offered a grocery store, where you can obtain the original and quality products you have tasted. Drinks are "véganisables" and a fully végan menu is available.

RED BEAR

Beer bar
5/5
2 reviews

At first glance, the concept isn't very original: a rock bar with an American-style decor and an English-language name. But Red Bear sets itself apart with rare beers on draught, almost exclusive whisky and house-arranged rums. Another highlight: events featuring music, world cuisine or specific themes (oenology, tattoos...). At the back of the room, the "saloon" is a room you can privatize for up to 15 people, with food planks and a fridge stocked with the drinks of your choice!

Formerly Le Continental, this bar-cafe-restaurant with its trendy early 20th century decoration offers travellers a gourmet stop in the city centre, a stone's throw from the cathedral and opposite Marie-sans-Chemise. We appreciate the warm welcome reserved for the customers, as well as the care taken in the service and the general cleanliness of the place. Very regularly, the establishment welcomes music groups that make the place even more friendly and lively. It is therefore a very pleasant stopover, with friends or on your own, between two errands in the city centre to enjoy a cappuccino, for example, or to chat over tea or coffee...

LE PETROUCHKA

Cabaret and Revue
3.8/5
13 reviews

Since 1974, By has built a solid reputation in Lille. It is here that some famous artists (Dominique Sarrazin, Ronny Couteure…) have made their weapons. The experience lasted until 1979, when the teacher changed formula at the initiative of Jean-Marie Denis (Alphonse), joined three years later by Francine Maerten (Zulma). The duo Alphonse and Zulma live on stage two hours during, in a hilarious show, where sketches and songs alternate. Scenes inspired by the everyday life and experience of the people of the North, all sprinkled with Ch'ti accent. Before the show you can dine with the most emblematic recipes of regional cuisine: maroilles pie, Flemish stew, home or cute pork potjevleesch, for example beer. A beautiful and good evening in perspective.

In years'time, this company has been a name and a place in the sun among French puppeteers. Set in an old building built by their care, this small company has a dozen versatile members who look after the design of the decor and puppets, stories and music. Some 150 performances are given each season and a travelling exhibition of puppets also awaits visitors. Production courses are organized for all ages.

Like most small cinemas, with a human size, the theater theater of Chateau-Thierry shows a beautiful programming side. There are many author films, which sometimes do not even go to the multiplexes of large cities. Moreover, prices are attractive. The 7 th Art Card, for example, at € 10, allows you to enjoy all the art and test films at the single price of € 4,60. The hall also plans opera, and regularly organizes animations.

This small 122-seat theater has successfully revived a former downtown cinema! The programming is based above all on laughter, taking advantage of the real proximity between professional comedians and the audience. Very accessible in terms of price and content, the shows are almost always sold out, so reservations are recommended. Programming for children (often from age 3) is scheduled for late-morning performances on Sundays. It's not easy to find a seat if you haven't planned ahead! Stand-up workshops.

Last year, this pub was taken over by the young Jenny who prints her rock style without altering the atmosphere of this English pub. It feels great, drinking a beer at the bar - straight from a pub in Rochester - or sitting on one of the tables that overlook the street.

There is a day to take a drink inside or on the terrace, listening to the latest news from the "village", market days to taste the mâchon in the morning, or at midday to enjoy good family cuisine, home made of course (count € 8,70 for the dish of the day), or even the famous andouillette if one has been taken care of. The Oz Australian Bar cafe is an absolute place in Lille! At Andrew, a cosmopolitan crowd is looking for a terrace and a drink between friends in a cool and friendly atmosphere. Among the cocktails, let us say for the most hardened: the iceberg bondi, learned mixture of gin, vodka, rum and curaçao with a zest of lemon and lemonade. Really big! Many beers, of course, beer from the opposite. Inevitably, the creation of an Australian will have to take place, or rugby as often seen on this terrace.

The architecture was conceived by a Dutch team, and offers an astonishing sparkling metal dress in the show room. Throughout the year, theatre plays, music festivals such as Reggae Waz Fest and concerts, especially on the occasion of the "release party" worship, where local artists who have released an album reveal their music to the wider audience.
