RUTEBEUF THEATRE
Read moreThis neo-classical theatre bears the name of a th-century poet, whose statue can be seen in the hall. At the beginning of the th century, the place is a ballroom built by the architects Pierre and Louis Guidetti. The space will be built in theatre only in 1990, when the last theatre in the city closed its doors. Previously, there was a police station, a library and a conservatory of music. The site today welcomes the public for various shows: this year, weekends with jazz sounds and countless theatrical performances are on the agenda.
SPRING WAREHOUSES
Read moreEdifiés by architects Popinot and All between 1908 and 1910, Spring warehouses testify to the city's industrial activity at the beginning of the th century. The concrete structure is designed by François Hennebique, while Ceramist Alexander Bigot focuses on the exterior decoration of the building. Located in 1905 on the Haussmann Boulevard in Paris, the Spring Store Company opens an annex to Clichy which will serve as a shop and storage warehouse. The left part of the building was added in 1923 by the architects Demoisson and Wybo. With its glass and metal structure, the building is a fine example of Art-Deco architecture and is easily recognized. Note that the local tourist office proposes to know more about this building.

CASTLE OF THE SENLISSE COURT
Read moreThis castle, private property registered in the inventory of historical monuments, opens its doors only for seminars and other receptions. What a pity. The wooded area hides an enchanting décor, the courtyard side as a garden side. The castle has retained the four-block plan of the Middle Ages, which is 45 m apart, dotted with a moat and stretched by 4 towers, the most important - and the oldest - date of the th century. In 1399, the sources mentioned a special hotel in these places. The communes were reworked in the th century, the main body was reworked and rebuilt in the th century and stretches on two floors, under a steep climb covered with ancient tiles. A fonte et and glass complemented the park.
LOMBARD RESIDENCE-WORKSHOP
Read morePierre Patout (1879-1965), a French architect, close to the international style inspired himself in his constructions of the liners he had built, influencing the liner style of a generation. This huge studio residence is an interesting example. At the angle of two streets, its heavy and frank openings on the sky thanks to its glass workshops exposes the last floor that overcomes the architecture of its volumes in the light. The house is part of the 1930 s course proposed by the city of Boulogne-Billancourt.
JOSEPH BERNARD WORKSHOP
Read moreProperty of sculptor Joseph Bernard from 1921. The artist's workshop was built by architect Charles Hackle, and furniture by the cabinetmaker Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann. The house and workshop retain certain stages of the work of Joseph Bernard; presentation of works in the house and workshop (casting, watercolours, bronze editions…). On the other hand, we can see the Frise of Dance, sculpture of the artist embedded in the facade of the facade. The property is part of Boulogne-Billancourt's «1930 s course».
RESIDENCE-WORKSHOP FRORIEP DE SALIS
Read moreAndré Lurçat (1894-1970) is in the half-wars considered one of the most prominent representatives of international style in France, with Le Corbusier and Mallet-Stevens. With its large horizontal bay overlooking an artist's workshop, and its cement pergola that extends to the entrance, André Lurçat executes a work that announces his participation in the architecture section of the Autumn salon. The villa was designed in 1927 and remains a significant trace of the architect's impetuosity. Boulogne-Billancourt includes it in its course of the 1930 s.
