Thanks to a number of people in the Gers, the long-forgotten Gascon palet was given a new lease of life in the 1980s. The first Palet Gascon World Championship was organized in Lialores in 1990, with an impressive prize of local produce! A "palet gascon" section was finally created within the Fédération Départementale des Foyers Ruraux in 1994 to regulate the game, manage the competition calendar and organize annual events.

Created in 1996, the League aims to promote and develop the practice of Tambourine ball in Occitanie. In association with the various departmental committees, it is at the disposal of all players wishing to play for leisure or in competition, as well as supporting new leaders wishing to set up a club. The league also supports the organization of promotional events and introductions to the traditional ball game!

The Ligue Occitanie de Bowling et de Sports de Quilles aims to promote bowling, as well as eight-pin bowling, nine-pin bowling and mallet bowling.
