In summer, there's hiking, mountain biking and quad biking, via ferrata, rafting, canyoning and even hot-air ballooning. This summer, we were particularly taken with the astro-hikes, which take you through pure, starry skies, and the night-time walks with a delicious mountain meal in the refuge. Unforgettable!

It is difficult to classify this path: magic hiking, sensory journey, nature exit, enchanting place? Go, the best is still to discover it by yourself, délacez your shoes and commute, not the bitumen, but the earth and gadoue in everything they have more fun! A playful exit, the Barefoot Trail allows you over 1 km to recover with many sensations by walking on very different elements. Fresh soil, roughness of warm sand, aspérité of stone or wood… huge stones to bamboo, feet délestés of their yoke tell stories and they are fabulous. It must be said that the site winds along a creek and runs in the forest, shaded in summer, it is a pure moment of communion with nature. You are autonomous and an hour and a half is required to savour each step. It goes without saying that the mud is a success! Even when you came to the end, the day is not finished: The jeunes workshops are offered to young people as well as to sand bins where they can stack stones and wooden ends to give life to characters: the top!

Open up to outdoor sports! With Sports Nature 34, you will have the possibility to go hiking, whether you are a beginner or an experienced hiker, to explore the landscapes of Béziers. If you have never done it before, you can also try Nordic walking: several routes exist to discover the most beautiful panoramas of the region, off the beaten track. Finally, an introduction to orienteering coupled with map reading will be offered by Luc, your qualified trainer.

For over 35 years, the Office des Sports de Montagne has been offering a wide range of activities to satisfy visitors' thirst for adventure. Forerunners in canyoning, they introduced the first all-inclusive packages for these activities. They also offer year-round outdoor activities such as via ferrata, water trekking in Spain, rafting on the Neste d'Aure, downhill scootering, paragliding, snowshoe trekking, and much more!

The walk is a little long (2 h 30) and presents some small difficulties: We recommend it more to seasoned brin than novice hikers. However, don't expect to sweat blood and water! The departure is given in Port-Blab, at the level of the ruined military buildings. Already, the tower takes pride in the distance: here you will immediately get into the bath. Then, between tracks and paths, your itinerary leads you to sumptuous points of view, here on the seaside resorts of Argelès-sur-Mer, Saint-Cyprien or Canet, there on the Corbières chain, further on the vineyards on the hillside.

The Maison de la Vallée is a museum and an interpretation center, in short a place of discovery and awareness of natural heritage. The association offers guided tours on the theme of botany. Walks are organized to discover the natural floral reserve of the Eyne Valley, nicknamed "the valley of 1,000 flowers". These various species have been studied for nearly three centuries and today it serves as a reference for botanists around the world. An afternoon in the Eyne valley is pure enchantment, don't miss it!

Located north of Sougraigne, in the heart of the Hautes Corbières, the archaeological site of the Salines glassworks, built around 1650, was in operation until 1765. Here, the Sals, a salty spring, was once frequented by glassmakers, jet miners, charcoal burners, lumberjacks, shepherds, peddlers and, of course, smugglers and gabelous on their heels. Discover this historic site, the glass workshop, and learn what life was like in the days of the Gabelle.

A dozen marked hiking trails (from 5.5 to 18.5 kilometers) allow you to discover the country of the Two Shores around Valence d'Agen, Goudourville, Espalais or Auvillar... The paths, accessible to all, are practicable on foot, bike or horseback. The circuits must be requested from the tourist offices of the Deux-Rives district (Valence, Auvillar, Donzac). They will provide you with maps and charts even if everything is signposted.

At the gateway to Bigorre, the countryside reveals its charm through 18 signposted walking loops, offering an immersion into the canton of Rabastens, with the chance to discover its flora, fauna and local heritage. The area boasts a wealth of landscapes, from hillsides to forests. In all, there are 170 kilometers to explore on foot or mountain bike. Don't forget to venture out on the famous Adour trail, but be sure to visit www.adouretaffluents.fr, as the water can sometimes be capricious.

The tourist office provides you with all the documents relating to the Nestier-Lombres-Montegut cultural circuit. A detailed map showing the five signposted hiking trails will guide you through the paths of the Neste canton. From the easy 12 km route to the more extensive 30 km route. Explore the different eras of history, from prehistory to more recent times, with sites such as the Mont Arès monastery. Along the way you'll see Celtic and Roman remains.

A leisure centre for children and adolescents, a hiking club located in a village of full garrigue, this is the idea of VMS, the association that organizes activities and outings on weekends. With its fascinating landscapes in every season, welcome to the Orpellières nature reserve. This loop takes you through unspoilt countryside, rich in biodiversity. The trail guides you through a variety of natural environments: the banks of the Orb, salt meadows, sansouïres, dunes and lagoons. Signs inform you about the natural heritage of this protected area. Don't miss the Tellines lookout for a breathtaking 360-degree panorama.

To get you to discover his Lozere, Didier Azéma offers you in every season unusual stays: descent of the Gorges du Tarn trail; in the footsteps of the Beast of Gevaudan (Nord Lozere); Wild hiking with bivouac in the trees… Once comfortably installed in a hammock at a height of 5 to 10 metres, the protective stature of the tree reveals the mysteries of the forest.
