After a fifteen-minute briefing, your instructor will guide you through a tandem skydive to an altitude of 4,000 meters. For an extra dose of adrenalin, opt for an introductory jump after two days' training.

The Nîmes airfield is convenient for domestic flights: You can make your baptism of the air and other air exits less than 5 km from the city centre. School of parachuting or pilotage? Both my captain! While the Para Club Gard introduces you to the first parachute jumps, the French Federation Aircraft has its aero-club aéro and organizes training in its Pilatus Goldeneye, with a team of instructors. Obtaining basic patents or pro license, Private Pilot License (PPL) takes no less than 45 hours of regulatory flight. The airfield is also the preferred place for some of the amateurs. They come to test their gliders or remotely-controlled miniature planes. Sometimes it is kites that take the base of the assault and stamp the sky of coloured traces and movements of free gear.

The French Skydiving School of Midi-Pyrenees, an association which has been working for more than half a century to promote free-fall and skydiving in all its forms, has occupied the site since 1988 with a superb complex where you can eat (canteen), relax (swimming pool) and even sleep (chalets and camping), provided you are a member of the association. The association was founded in 1984 and bought its first plane 5 years later. The center currently handles over 30,000 jumps a year. Thrill seekers will love the tandem skydiving experience offered by the Occitan Skydiving Club. The plane climbs between 3,000 and 4,000 meters from where your instructor will encourage you to jump into the void. The fall at 200 km/h lasts about 40 seconds. Your tandem opens the canopy at an altitude of 1,500 meters, and for 8 minutes, you can enjoy the beauty of the Gers and the Pyrenees from the sky before landing gently (hopefully) on the ground. If you choose this option, you can leave with the video of your jump!

Between Lauzerte and Montaigu (D 41), this school offers benefits for unique sensations (tandem jump, parachute parachute) as well as accommodation and camping… In short, what care is taken if you don't find the beautiful countryside to its taste. With the equipment provided, you'll be drunk from altitudes from Pilatus and Twin Otter aircraft for parachuting, freefly freestyle, freestyle and skysurf!
