Read moreEvery year, at the end of September, the sky of Rocamadour is invaded by large multicoloured spheres. This impressive European gathering of hot-air balloons attracts about thirty machines. On the programme, the flight over the Causses and the Dordogne valley is admired by thousands of tourists and local residents, who are amazed at each edition. A flea market takes place on the second day of the event, as well as various animations in the streets and on the road leading to the castle.

Read moreWith two take-off sites in Occitania - one in the Tarn, 20 minutes from Toulouse; and the other in Aveyron, near Lake Pareloup- Atmosph'air proposes to take you up to heaven. Created in 2010 by pilot Laurent Pailhous, this unique airline company has three hot air balloons in its fleet to fly over the most beautiful villages and sites in both departments. The trip lasts one hour and ends with the Toast of the balloonist, a snack with Occitan flavours.
