CAFE FIKA

Closed - Open to 08h00

Take the time to experience a fika break. It's happening at Café Fika, right next to the Capitol. Don't be surprised to meet the Swedish community there. Fika comes from the Scandinavian latitudes and their passion for this very fragrant beverage that they consume in large quantities. Understand coffee in slang, so to speak! This word has become synonymous with an art of living. We take the time to do ourselves good by accompanying our hot drink with a kanelbulle or brioche roll with cinnamon, sometimes with cardamom or with apples... The address is held by a French-Swedish couple who invites you to discover the specialities from the Nordic countries from breakfast to afternoon tea!

For once the Bureau is not moving backwards… Franck'has been managing the bar for four years. In this brasserie in the very beautiful décor, many atmospheres blend. Professional customers in the week and during the day, place of exit for a part of youth "in the evening, and family on weekends, there are for all ages. On the map, calf's paupiette in the county, beans and leeks, or grilled ham, rice and piperade. The office also has a wide selection of wines and a wide range of beers. A brasserie without prétention, frills and like you love them. Please do not confuse this place with the old "At the Office", which is now a concert pub called the "London Tavernel".

CAFÉ PAPICHE

Coffee shop and tea room

7 reviews

Soft music, a welcoming bench, a smile behind the counter, Café Papiche has what it takes to seduce you. Small but very cozy. His "lunch formula" advocates "homemade". The choice is between a soup of the day and fresh bread, also from the master's oven, or a piece of quiche, a dessert and a coffee of very high quality and selected with great care. No weariness for the regulars because the freshly squeezed juice also changes according to the products and the mood of the moment. Ditto for Sunday morning brunch. Hearty, tasty... you leave very happy because you are full of the mixture of flavours between here and elsewhere! Be careful, it's better to book!

This wine and beer bar is located on a small quiet square where a good part of the terrace is spread out. Open - Close to 23h00

L'Argo, as it's known here, is a veritable institution. People come here for a drink overlooking the harbour, to relax on the cosy terrace or sip a delicious cocktail. Since Tommy took over the reins of the family bar, l'Argonaute has quickly become a port staple. The completely revamped bar gives the place a zen and trendy atmosphere. We also appreciate the new, simple and effective menu of homemade tapas: trio of mini burgers, crunchy chicken, beef or salmon tartare, salads... On Mondays in July and August, don't miss the live concerts.

O2LA

Bar and caf
5/5

After wine bars, beer and mineral oysters, here comes the age of the oxygen bar, the latest avatar at the trendy cafés. So connected that obviously it likes many gay guys and their friends! In Nîmes, it was on the Esclafidous Square that this new trend blew the idea to Salim Watwat, the manager of the establishment. From the entrance, we discover the oxygen machines, the kinds of large central units equipped with a casque helmet… No, no, you're not intubé and you don't think one second to a hospital, which is complicated! For maximum efficiency, the session lasts 20 minutes, a moment of relaxation, where you can gently breathe fresh air from oil smell essential to assainissantes properties. Of course it does not replace a real air bowl but certainly boosts it! The O 2 LA is a bar-restaurant that benefits from the inventiveness of a chef who has worked at Alexandre (traditional traditional menu with fresh products). Another reason to go? The hotel was very close to the city Centre and the city centre. You breathe!

JAZZ CORNER CAFÉ

Music and entertainment bar
5/5
2 reviews

Everything is said in the name of the establishment. Here, jazz is king! In the background, always. Especially on weekends, with the arrival of regional jazz groups (free entry generally). If the place is only open 3 days a week, it prefers to offer quality rather than quantity and the owner, passionate about this musical trend, has made his choice (a choice we totally approve of, by the way). Better to swing less often but better, one could say... Which of course does not prevent you from having a drink or even a meal.

This restaurant is worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster. Between Jack Sparrow's pirate and galion tavern, the brand is picturesque, relaxed and musical. This bar is one of the most atypical places in the resort. Daniel and his team, all proudly wearing their pirate clothes, go to this place with relaxed smile and smile. There is a very large selection of cocktails, from the most classic to the most extravagant. Thus, mojito, ti-punch, tequila tequila and other planters are on schedule. At lunchtime, tapas is available; and, from 23 pm, you can eat the day's suggestion. Regularly themed evenings are organized, such as the Creole or Sanitary evenings and Colombo who pimentent the evenings. An urban planning project created a few years ago, Place Montcalm is a good fit for this neighborhood bar. Les Deux Mondes was able to install its large terrace on the central median and on both sides of the semi-pedestrian street. As soon as the weather is fine, the brasserie formula at lunchtime or the full salad plates attract a lot of people. Here, no fuss is made, it's a good, relaxed place to eat. The service is pleasant and warm; here you are not rushed to take your coffee and free the place, the key word is enjoy.

Here we feel good, we are greeted with open arms, always with a smile, with great attention and sympathy. The nomadic garden style Tente tries to seduce, adding to the atmosphere a feeling of complete change. This tea salon has turned into Tunisian casbah, brown and orange hot tones, coordinated striped fabrics, sails, trendy furniture, designs and calligraphy on the walls… to get us better, especially at midday since we can now restore it. For lunch breaks, salads, salty pies, Tunisian bricks… Faithful to its world atmosphere, the Shambhala also develops its activities: Richer games, organisation of themed evenings, conversation courses in foreign languages, meditation, yoga… This place is unique, word of Petit Smart!

The owners of the place have put everything they love here and dressed this half-bar half-brothel of hundreds of books, vinyls, furniture and various objects to hunt.... The decoration, cosy as one would wish, therefore evolves according to sales, when the welcome remains invariably warm. Between two coffees, the establishment offers concert evenings, with a pretty menu of cocktails.... And cheese or sausage platters. We're in Aveyron anyway! The place is particularly popular on Saturday mornings at market time, for a coffee or an aperitif in good company.
