It is a bit like the Montpellier equivalent of the Splendid and it does not demerit from its Parisian "ancestor". Kawa is a theatre dedicated to humour and it works well! In the 180-seat auditorium, halfway between the boulevard theatre and the café-theatre, the comedians cleverly deploy well-meaning phrases around themes that are always up to date. So much so that some of Kawa's creations have been invited to more "serious" venues... Formerly "la Cave Poésie", this room has existed since 1968, on the initiative of two enthusiasts: René Gouzenne, actor, director and Danièle Catala, actress and director. From September to June, Théâtre + Cinéma offers a program of theater, dance, music, circus, for young audiences... and the programming of art and experimental cinema. Théâtre + Cinéma's mission is to disseminate the various currents of current artistic vitality, to support creation and artistic education. Les Comptoirs, a bar and light food area, is open every day (except Monday), before and after shows and before movie screenings.

The theater of the Grand-Rond is a small theater with a beautiful popularity in Toulouse. It has to be said that its programming is as dynamic as it is sympathetic, like the team at its head. Le Petit Subito is the literary and singing cabaret of Henry Le Ny and Doumée, directors and actors, emblematic figures of the "scene. With his relaxation, where portraits are translated, texts to be interpreted at the top time, public readings, cabaret at Kurt Weil, staggered concerts, Compagnie Subito brings a user-friendly dimension, which contributes to its reputation. Sitting around the tables as in the bistro or setting along the walls, spectators (one hundred more) take place and necessarily talk to each other. Here we cultivate the love of words, music, bloody polar or rock history. Totally atypical like the beginnings of shows announced at 19 h 23 sharp: after, we close the doors to respect the actors and the comfort of the visitors.

More known under its initials, the TMT has been at its head since its creation. It presents to the public eclectic, funny or serious programs that address all genres: theatre, café-theatre, poetry, cinema, dance, music, children's shows. There are about performances per programming season, some drinks-concerts, cross-Stage entries and, in summer, in Marvejols, the city cultural festival.

The Centre Bérenger de Frédol is the town's cultural center and home to the friendly Jérome Savary theater. Created in 1988, the Théâtre Garonne devotes its activity to contemporary arts, be it theatre, dance or music. It is housed in a former river water pumping station, made up of four fairground brick buildings, where the workshops and a 255-seat auditorium have been installed. Entirely renovated, it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Garonne and a bar where you can sip a drink while waiting for the stage. In the heart of the pink city, the Théâtre de la Cité is Toulouse's national drama centre. This imposing building of bricks, glass and stone, built in the footsteps of the former Toulouse Conservatory, echoes loud and clear the voices of poets and playwrights. The Municipal Theatre, in the heart of Escutcheon, is the right lung of culture in Nîmes.
