In the heart of the pink city, the Théâtre de la Cité is Toulouse's national drama centre. This imposing building of bricks, glass and stone, built in the footsteps of the former Toulouse Conservatory, echoes loud and clear the voices of poets and playwrights. Since 2018, under the direction of director Galin Stoev, has been launching a programme for the widest possible audience. This is a long way from elitist theatre. A place of life and sharing opens up. Similarly, space is given to creation and co-production, to artists' residencies. The theatre is oriented towards the repertoire of tomorrow, poetry, circus and puppet arts, music or dance.

In fact this theatre is located on the old classical music college of Toulouse!
However, the negative: very few places around the theatre, then average programme with very high prices often!
