This venerable institution has been taken over by Nicolas Martinez, who has dusted it off a bit. He has given it a facelift, while retaining its Belle Époque charm: upholstered banquettes, marble-topped pedestal tables and colorful chairs for sipping a cocktail or enjoying a cup of coffee. Elegant and intimate, Papa Doble is one of the city's top cocktail bars. Until recently, the establishment was included in the list of the 50 best bars in the world. In a very elaborate setting, both sober and design, inspired by the works of Ernest Hemingway, the bar's team offers very original creations. Unusual ingredients, little known alcohols and atypical syrups, the cocktails reveal unusual aromas. The vaulted aspect of the room and the boudoir decoration give a very intimate and even naughty atmosphere to this place.

William, already owner of the distillery rue de l'Aiguillerie, took over in May the former Mojomatic with his associate Vincent. Very close to the prefecture, its small terrace and its relaxed smart side are appreciated. The slogan of the house "Fine music and good spirit". Nothing to add, guest comes here to drink a draught beer as the cherry Belgian Krieg or one of the 17 cocktails of the menu to relax and listen to good sound electro swing, rock, and even hip hop. Under the beautiful vaults of the 14th century, Audrey, specialising in french pastry, and Marion, specialising in cupcakes and American cakes, both of them pastry chefs, opened this pastry in the place of La Girafe restaurant, well-known by the inhabitants of Montpellier. Specialties of millefeuille, lemon tart, and especially the turned brioche, everything is homemade with quality ingredients. Beware of the head upstairs. At lunchtime, there are two daily specials including one gluten-free. Note the canistrelli, delicious Corsican biscuits with chocolate, orange, olive oil and white wine.

The Domaine et Château d'Ô in Montpellier offers a varied program of shows, including theater, circus, dance and music. Théâtre + Cinéma's mission is to disseminate the various currents of current artistic vitality, to support creation and artistic education. Les Comptoirs, a bar and light food area, is open every day (except Monday), before and after shows and before movie screenings.

Born out of a local bar founded in 1958 by uncle Léon Toulet, the place owes its fame, as its name suggests, to the pastis that reigns supreme here: you can order it just like the beer... by the linear metre! To find it, you can't miss it: the bar is yellow... pastis! The decor is sunny too! Savvy tip: party hard, but take the metro or walk home...

Twelve rooms and twenty films to the poster. The malins are rush to the avant-garde, in very comfortable and well-equipped rooms. In the Mega CGR, no movies Art and Trial - it's not done for this -, you're airing big Hollywood machines, all French movies, at a challenging price, and it's not so bad. This highly original place combines three activities: farming, butchery and cabaret. David runs a 100-hectare farm, which he shows visitors around on a tractor-train. The farm is entirely self-sufficient, i.e. the animals are butchered on site and offered for sale. Then there's a farmhouse cabaret inn, where David's wife Laetitia prepares a meal with a good portion of home-grown produce served on the plate. On stage, a cabaret show (singer, dancer, magician...) completes the ensemble.

In the pleasant Rue des Tourneurs, L'Autre salon de thé revives the tradition of the salons of yesteryear. Cosy decor, porcelain tableware and delicious pastries! Everything is homemade with fresh, carefully selected ingredients to spoil you: Saint-Honoré, cheesecake, banoffee, cream puffs, banana bread, accompanied by a selection of teas to die for. Non-aficionados will find this place a little too "showy". since Café Jo', as it is nicknamed by regulars, is primarily the meeting point of a trendy local youth who loves to show off and to be seen. But what type of Montpellier residents would dare to say they have never gone to Café Jo? At Café Joseph, you can enjoy the large terrace that extends over the half of Place Jean-Jaurès and an impressive concentration of young people permanently installed there! If you do not dance outside, a DJ is there to light up the evening regularly, and other events enliven up the bar throughout the year. As for catering it has incredibly been improved: the charcuterie boards to share or the Joseph hamburger is the specialty of the house. But we also like the breakfast in the quiet of the sunny place. A sign of the revival of the Biterrois area, since autumn 2007, it completes the range of venues in the Béziers conurbation offered by the municipality - the theatre -, the Hérault departmental council - Sortie Ouest - or the Sérignan town hall - La Cigalière. In the heart of the city centre, a stone's throw from the Castillet, this superb restored building has always been a cinema since 1911, when it was founded. This complex has 1,700 seats in 7 rooms all equipped with Dolby floors. For an art house cinema, the "Castillet" as it is called here has a very eclectic programme and also proposes films freshly released in theatres, and often in V.O. This cinema, which immediately reminds us of Eddy Mitchell's "La Dernière Séance", will astonish more than one by its modernity and its theme evenings.

With its seventeen rooms, the Gaumont de Labège is an important complex in the Toulouse agglomeration. The elegant décor was designed by Christian Lacroix. In addition to this meticulous setting and its varied programming, its main strong point is to offer IMAX Laser and 4DX projections. The former offer top visual and sound quality, the latter will take you on a bluffing immersive experience, with mobile seats! A new and addictive way to live a movie in total immersion: you feel the wind or the smell of cut grass, you get wet from the rain, the seats follow the movements of the action, it shakes, it swings... and we love it!

Place Saint-Georges, Wallace attracts tourists like the Toulouse, through its elegant surroundings. Outside, its terrace shaded by majestic plane plane séduit local and passing travellers. You can meet the gotha of the city administration, lawyers, politicians, journalists or local personalities. They debate, they meet at the time of the small black or the breaks of work. But it is on Sundays or Fridays, market day on the boulevard, that Pantel takes all its dimension. Its terrace is a strategic point to see the tobacco customers who come to buy cigarettes and newspapers.

Le Petit Subito is the literary and singing cabaret of Henry Le Ny and Doumée, directors and actors, emblematic figures of the "scene. With his relaxation, where portraits are translated, texts to be interpreted at the top time, public readings, cabaret at Kurt Weil, staggered concerts, Compagnie Subito brings a user-friendly dimension, which contributes to its reputation. Sitting around the tables as in the bistro or setting along the walls, spectators (one hundred more) take place and necessarily talk to each other. Here we cultivate the love of words, music, bloody polar or rock history. Totally atypical like the beginnings of shows announced at 19 h 23 sharp: after, we close the doors to respect the actors and the comfort of the visitors.

Superb setting that this large house with its garden in the house of Veterans and war victims. A few nights a year, especially during the férias, the Alhambra transforms into the nicest star of nîmoises wineries. You can come to a band to dance or simply take a quiet drink, because the vastness of the place always allows for a nice little corner to chat.

All the places for all performances in France, the network France Tickets at Carrefour shows its Ambitions and keeps its promises. The Three Moors enjoy the festive bullfighting, the third half-time and the purpose of the festive games, and the Three Moors love the celebration. Eric Villefranque, the boss, was able to transform his bar-mezzanine. High ceilings and space, a beautiful counter adorned with ajuleros in the centre and conservation of the famous copper percolator, where smell coffee comes out. The Three Moors, new genus, retain the character of the lively and popular brewery while proving that it attracts young people. DJ's, karaoke or salseros atmospheres, punctual dates are announced on a common website for the Three Moors and the pizzeria El Campo. Normal, that is the same direction! On weekends, tapas is served at the counter.

More known under its initials, the TMT has been at its head since its creation. It presents to the public eclectic, funny or serious programs that address all genres: theatre, café-theatre, poetry, cinema, dance, music, children's shows. There are about performances per programming season, some drinks-concerts, cross-Stage entries and, in summer, in Marvejols, the city cultural festival.

The Centre Bérenger de Frédol is the town's cultural center and home to the friendly Jérome Savary theater. From September to May, residents of Villeneuve and the surrounding area come here to discover a rich program of different artistic forms: theater, circus, puppetry, music, cinema and dance. The year is also punctuated by festivities for young and old alike. With seating for 200 and free admission, it's the ideal place to go out, especially with the whole family.
