While the absence of a grocery store was sorely felt in the small town of Longny-au-Perche, Barnabé's grocery store opened its doors in 2015, bringing a breath of new life to the village. Victoire's boutique, Le marché du Robec, aims to enable people to eat locally and healthily, while encouraging non-industrial production. To achieve this, she has spent months scouring the Normandy countryside to meet farmers and market gardeners who share her values. And only farms producing seasonal, organic and sustainable fruit and vegetables were selected in the course of her quest. As an added bonus, distribution is a short circuit, with producers delivering directly to the boutique.
