When the British in the 1900s were bored on the Alabaster Coast, they created golf courses. This one opened in 1908. Come aboard the boat for a 1h15-hour cruise, or for a 2h30 lunch and dinner cruise, departing from the Putanges-Pont-Écrepin or Rabodanges landing stage, depending on water levels. The captain's commentary will introduce you to the local flora and fauna, as well as the workings of the dam. As for the menus, the Norman terroir, between land and sea, inspires the chef. Colleville-sur-Mer is famous for its beach, Omaha Beach, where the Allies landed on June 6, 1944. It is also here, on the cliffs, that the American military cemetery can be found. Colleville Beach, which extends for nearly 7 km, is shared with two other municipalities going west, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer and Vierville-sur-Mer. At low tide, the vast expanse of sand allows the practice of sand yachting, and offers beautiful walks to contemplate the sea.

Located away from the village, the equestrian centre of La Bonde offers all the activities related to horses and pony riding: harnessing, aerobatics, training, from early learning to high-level professional training, including training for horse shows. Les Bains des Docks, just a stone's throw from the city centre, boasts resolutely contemporary architecture and recently renovated spaces. They were designed by architect Jean Nouvel, inspired by Roman thermal baths. The white and coloured volumes, together with the water in the pools, form a whole that has been hailed by the public as one of the most beautiful pools in France. Although Honfleur is a city of culture and history, there is nothing to stop you from relaxing for an hour or two at mini-golf. Only 10 kilometres from the famous Mont-Saint-Michel, the town of Pontorson is a good base for visiting the Channel and the medieval city. From this town marked by a history sometimes English and sometimes French, a cycle path joins the banks of the Couesnon. You will then ride along the water to Mont-Saint-Michel. The last part is on a lane shared with pedestrians. However, be aware of the large number of visitors during the tourist season.
