It's already been four years since the Théâtre à l'Ouest, dedicated to comedy, won us over. The only one of its kind in the city, this human-sized venue with a seating capacity of almost 200 welcomes the big names in one-man/woman shows, as well as rising stars and young, little-known talents. Philippe Lellouche, Alison Wheeler, Jean-Marie Bigard and Max Boublil will pass the baton on stage. And that's not counting magic shows, hit plays and musical tales for the little ones. As an added bonus, the artists often meet the audience at the end of their show!

When you walk through the door, the magic happens and we are all 10 years old again. The eyes shine and look for the game that attracts us first. Pinball, dance mats, foosball, simulators, car racing... family's Game promises to entertain you with about 40 arcade games. Alone, with 2, 4 or more people, the whole family will find something to laugh about and have a good time. One establishment in Caen and another in Ouistreham, it is possible to privatize the establishment but also to rent the machines for your events.

The mythical name has been kept, but only that! Because the Milton, one of the leading nightclubs in central Manche, moved from Baudre to Saint-Lô last February. Vast and modern, the discotheque has kept the recipe that made the Milton's reputation: a fiery atmosphere, numerous theme nights, top DJs and a musical program eclectic enough for everyone to get their groove on. Ideally located in the town centre, this bar with its surprisingly friendly decor welcomes you from breakfast to late evening. In summer, don't hesitate to settle down on the sandy terrace for a Hawaiian atmosphere. If you're feeling peckish, ask for the menu and treat yourself to bistro-style cuisine: entrecôtes frites, risotto, etc. Last but not least, party-goers will love our themed evenings hosted by trendy bands and DJs.

Right next door to the hotel-restaurant l'Épicurien, Le Grimoire is a lounge where you can spend some quality time in a unique atmosphere in Valognes that leaves no one indifferent. Modern with a few classical touches, a hushed atmosphere, vast chandeliers and plants on the walls and descending from the ceiling, the finest establishments in the Cotentin region have only themselves to blame. Champagnes, whiskies, wines or cocktails: we've also pulled out all the stops when it comes to drinks. It's a great place, and one we'd recommend!

A six-hole golf course in the middle of a racecourse? Yes, the Alençon Racing Society is not short of anything, including having thought of setting up a mini-golf course in the middle of the racecourse. Aiming at the right hole and betting on the right horse: this is the right combination! The exceptional quality of the Alençon Racecourse's grass track allows for important events such as the Premium races or the stages of the Trophée Vert. On average, eight races are held at each meeting, i.e. a total of about fifty events per season.

A bar by day, the place was taken over a few months ago by a dynamic couple who have kept the fundamentals while adding their own touch. Come here for a drink or one of the marvellous pastries served during the day, or enjoy a slice of pizza (presented in a colourful display case), which you can take away. All day long, from Tuesday to Saturday, the place never gets empty, and the terrace is very popular in summer on this busy street in downtown Cherbourg.

Built in 1883, this former Lexovian chapel has seen several owners and, passing from one hand to the next, has lost some of its lustre. Until 2017, when Michel Boutte, the legendary former owner of the Ouilly-le-Vicomte cabaret, took over the premises with an original concept for a bar-lounge-restaurant. This unique place lends itself perfectly to all kinds of fantasies, with its pop-art and baroque decor, high wooden ceiling, and imposing bar... Thirty-somethings and forty-somethings will love the bar, the restaurant, and the ambiance until 2:30 am.

Run by a couple who used to be florists, this tearoom offers homemade tarts and cakes, both simple and delicious. Sitting in the armchairs "as if by the fire" or seated at a bistro table, with friends or loved ones, you can enjoy a slice of savoury or sweet tart, depending on the day's specials, with a hot or cold drink, at a low price.

With its Irish pub feel, Les Paillottes is a great place to stop just to admire the sea view. It's warm and inviting, with lots of wood, and bottles of rhum arrangé are just waiting for you. As for the rest, the basics are there: you're welcome on the terrace when the weather's fine, and when the sea gets rough, you can sit back and watch the impressive spectacle inside. It's a popular - and well-placed - spot in Agon, and a must-see!

Located at the corner of Place d'Estouteville and Rue des Fossés, could one dream of a better place for this imposing beer bar? Because the Place to Beer (we'll appreciate the pun) is not lacking in assets. Divided into two distinct places, one cosy, the other pub, it obviously offers many references in terms of beer: blonde, dark, amber, nothing is missing. You can also enjoy a few boards with friends, and the beautiful place with the green front also offers a nice little terrace. We validate!

Right in the centre of town, in a small recess of this pedestrian district, you'll find a lively and busy place, especially at weekends. Rade à Binch offers a wide range of beers and local spirits. People come here with friends to have an excellent time, in one of the warmest atmospheres in town - and not just on sports nights! The welcome is top-notch, and small nibbles at aperitif time are very welcome!

This charming place is located in the heart of the city. A bar-tabac open from Monday to Saturday to regular customers, it's much more than that! Hélène and Fabien, the two managers, make it a point of honor to make it a place for a wide range of events: people come here for concerts and exhibitions. At the far end of the bar, a devilishly cosy corner has been set up, where you can relax in peace and quiet. For those who enjoy evenings out with friends, there are a number of attractive platters on offer, to be enjoyed on the terrace in summer, for example.

After the closure of the Anatole Bar, Matthias reinvested the place and breathed new life into the Prefecture district, with the three new rooms of Coco Bongo: one without music, one with a large dance floor, and a third with moderate sound. The historic Latino atmosphere of the place has been preserved: salsa classes are even organised and Latin-influenced DJs come to entertain the crowds. With a little gipsy touch, it's a friendly, warm and unique night bar in Rouen. Don't miss the Saturday nights!

Run by Sophie (the mother) and Alexandra (the daughter), Delicatessen - it's all in the name - is a cosy tea room where you can enjoy savoury dishes at low prices, concocted just for you, or have a snack with the delicious desserts of Casa B, an Argentinian pastry chef. The place is charming and the welcome is sunny. Next to the tearoom is a delicatessen offering a wide range of sweet and savoury products, as well as products from Southern Europe. Logical: Italy and Greece are in the spotlight.

A must in Saint-Vaast, and has been for years. Tourists, locals and people passing through do the Cabestan proud, and it does them proud! During the day, you can have a drink here, on your way back from Tatihou for example, and enjoy the terrace with a view of the port in fine weather. At lunchtime or in the evening in season, you will find something to satisfy even the most demanding of hungers: meat, fish, bruschetta and local specialities... The place, like many establishments here, is very popular in summer, so think of coming early enough.

With friends or as a couple, on the terrace or under a blanket, there are a thousand ways to enjoy these teas, some of them exceptional. Feeling hungry? The house serves breakfast, lunch, and sweet treats in the afternoon. The boutique also offers a range of products related to the steaming cup of tea time. Yes, my dear!

This venerable bar in the small village of Liesville, on the banks of the river Douve, is set in one of the most peaceful and impressive natural areas in the département. Comfortably seated in our sofas, the cocktail menu offers a vast choice of recipes, from the most classic to the most daring, with or without alcohol, and the results are up to scratch. On the other hand, the mixed cheese/charcuterie board was nothing transcendent (an opportunity for us to come back and try the other tapas?). A quick pause in front of the angel wings in the starter before leaving, and that's it!

It's impossible to miss this bar, whose frontage sets the mood: here you enter a world of pirates, and the surprise of finding so much originality in Valognes doesn't leave you indifferent! This is the home of rum, which comes in countless varieties, but that's not all. The friendly Blackbeard offers a wide range of drinks in a warm atmosphere. The music, mainly rock, has a lot to do with it. In fine weather, special mention must be made of the terrace, ideally located in the city.

Titep: reverse the letters, and you'll find out who's behind the sign. Florian Le Petit loves two ingredients: butter and love. This enthusiast will introduce you to his sweet and savoury pastries, the originality of the house. Teas, coffees, infusions and juices are the perfect accompaniment to these delicacies. The clientele feels good here and can also come to participate or attend many organized parties. Note finally that the place has developed an excellent offer of restoration.
