The Védrenne shop in the rue Bossuet is a nice showcase for the group of the same name based in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Created in 1923, the Védrenne house is a real institution. Among the distillery's products, we can mention the "Supercassis" blackcurrant cream at 20 degrees which is a pure delight, or, very trendy, the triple dry curaçao. The fruit creams are available with chestnut, blueberry, vine peach and the liqueurs allow to make amazing cocktails, like the one with elderflower. There are many references in the shop.

Hervé Joubert awaits you in his spirits store. According to him, the store is the only one to offer such a wide range of products within a 300-kilometer radius. Customers can choose from over 250 whiskies, mainly from Scotland, but also from Ireland, Japan and even Corsica or Brittany. 60 rums not found elsewhere are also on offer, as well as vodkas, cognac, armagnac and other eaux-de-vie. None of the spirits sold here are available in supermarkets. Before choosing, customers can taste the product on site.

François-Xavier Vitrac oversees this Haut-Doubs institution. 4 generations of know-how have created famous beverages such as the fir bud liqueur or the famous Pontarlier-Anis with green anise. In 2014, Charles-Guillaume and Blandine Simon took over this wine merchant's house to create an artisanal distillery in a completely renovated space. The idea is simple: to produce exceptional spirits combining tradition and modernity. L'Ô DE JŌ (London Dry Gin), L'Ô D'ICY (grape or wine brandies), B-A-R JŌ (pastis), liqueurs, with a still all in sparkling copper to heat marcs whose distillate is aged according to original recipes.

This simple and benevolent man will be happy to explain his work, answer your questions and offer you a tasting session. His company has been operating since 1984 and its products have already received numerous medals (five gold medals since 2008 and two awards of excellence in 2013 and 2014). What we love above all is the cream of cassis 20%. The specialists are not mistaken because they awarded him the Gold Medal 2015 as it was in 2012. It's not too sweet, it's greedy and it's unbeatable, it's the best aroma of the cassis and tastes almost alone. Gilles Joannet also offers liqueur of apricot, cherry, melon, sugar beet, pissenbed flower, pruning, cynorrhodonation or tomato. He even manufactures milk liquor or coing. Laura invites you on a journey of the senses as she concocts her own rhums arrangés. Flambéed banana, mango, vanilla, tarte tatin or lemon verbena, the varieties are numerous and 100% pure fruit. In fact, no flavoring is ever added. Laura uses an agricultural rum from Martinique, flavored with fresh sugar cane, to which she adds fresh, organic, seasonal fruit, often dried and prepared in their country of origin.
