Housed in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Morvan, this artificial water plan of 367   ha originally created to facilitate gliding of wood on the Cure, feast in this year 2008, its 150 years. For two years, the Regional Council has supported its channels: the Nivernais Canal, the Centre Canal, the Bourgogne Canal and the Fit waterway. With over 1000 km of inland waterways, Burgundy has the largest network of inland waterways in France. Welcome to Andrée and Jean Moiziard. The residence of this artist's couple is in itself a work of art, rich with a very special poetry and charm. Andrée paints paintings of which she is secret, in a style that is both naive and poetic. Jean, on the other hand, produces sculptures composed of assemblages assemblages of objects collected throughout their lives. The couple has a place of exposure that can be visited on request in the village. These singular artists are also a permanent exhibition place at the Centre d'art contemporain at the Auberive Abbey (Haute-Marne), where, since the establishment of the Centre, a room has been dedicated to them in the collection of Dominique and Jean-Claude Volot. The work of Andrée and Jean can also be found in May at Ten's Fine arts museum.

The Jura pioneered the establishment of the uniform collection and sorting system throughout the department, before it expanded at national level in the 1980 s. Many cities have long been the «eco-citizens' commune». The recyclable waste of the inhabitants, grouped in a single blue bin per family, is collected "door-to-door", then manually differentiated at the sorting center and then recycled in some areas, creating jobs. This state forest extends integrally on a nearly 9,000 ha, and it is the largest wooded area in Côte d'Or. Part of this hardwood forest will become National Park, just like the one of Vanoise or Cevennes. These woods have a rich and diverse animal population and rare flowers, such as the Lady's slipper or Ligularia sibirica, highly appreciated for their beauty. Walkers have 21 marked circuits on the Châtillonnais, with very different landscapes from one circuit to the other: Cirque de la Coquille, caves, monuments, vineyards, castles, abbeys… Hunting with hounds is possible from September 15th to March 31st. This vineyard of the Haut Val d'Amour, inaugurated on June^1, 2019, received the Renou prize from the National Association of elected officials of the vine and wine. An achievement for the association of amateur winegrowers led by Christian Maréchal. The 38 old vines used in the past in the region occupy the plot enriched with a dry stone caborde (or shelter). This is a remarkable site because it overlooks the Loue valley. After having met the Argant noir, the Béclan and the Enfariné, a no less pleasant walk will complete your visit to the borders of the Doubs.

The house of laughter changes its address and is currently in work. In a year, more spacious premises should host the entire collection and much more. 

Created by Claude Lelouch in spring 2016, the Cinema Workshops are an antenna of its production company Les Films 13 based in Paris. Claude Lelouch has always loved Beaune, a city he chose to create a new place for cinema learning. Beaune is becoming a true city of cinema, let's remember that since 2009 she has hosted the International Police Film Festival in early April. For his first promotion, Claude Lelouch turned his young apprentice team into the heart of the beaunt country. All his life, released in 2017, directing a plead of actors. Each year Claude Lelouch is surrounded by apprentices selected on a short film contest. This 6-minute film must be shot with a smartphone. The Cinema Workshops allow apprentices to be immersed in the reality of production, they have a professional working tool in Beaune, with recording studio, shooting room, assembly… Installed in a completely refurbished building near the cinemas of Beaune, we can go to discover a unique place, and a bar there is very often open.

In 1857, Antoine Lescure, travelling tinker, (FYI, the tinkers were workers in charge of covering tools and metal utensils with a layer of molten tin, to prevent them from oxidizing) opened a tin workshop in Selongey. It manufactures buckets, watering cans, deciliters, mussels and milk scales. In 1944, the Lescure Petit-fils company became Stamping Company of Burgundy (Société d'Emboutissage de Bourgogne): SEB was born. In the 1950s, the Super Cocotte was sold for over a million each year. The company was inaugurated soon in other markets with odorless innovative fryer (1967), all automatic toaster (1973) or the electric yoghourt maker (1974). Then SEB brings together famous brands like Tefal, Moulinex, Rowenta and Krups under its name. The main factory is still active with more than 500 employees. Now, it manufactures pressure-cookers. Groups can visit it by appointment but think of reserving about 6 months in advance.

The well XV is a real curiosity surrounding Sombernon. This well was excavated in 1850. It was one of the 22 extraction wells that allowed the excavation to evacuate during the construction of the Blaisy railway tunnel, the largest in Europe at the time. The nearby restaurant was the place to collect workers' wages. He became a charming and good restaurant. It is also the starting point for several hiking trails.

Since January 1, 2014, Communautés de Communes du Sombernonnais and the Vallée de l'Ouche have merged under the name "Ouche et Montagne". There are now 32 towns and more than 10,500 inhabitants who joined their destiny.
