Read moreWith its imposing clocher tower, this is a church with character. It was built in the th century at the location of a parish church which was part of the city walls. They are still being guessed in the current entry. Interior decoration dates mainly from the th century, including the paintings at the Saint Vincent-de-Paul and Saint-Antoine chapels. The organ is considered the oldest of the Jura, and was installed in 1725 by the famous Marine Carouge organ factor. In the narthex, a statue of the Immaculate Conception recalls that the future Pope Pius IX passed here in 1810. Finally, connoisseurs can admire beautiful exhibits displayed in a showcase: a white vestment of the 1900 th century, and another of, painted on silk

WEREWOLF TRAIL
Read moreThe trail du Loup-Werewolf is a trail marked by various panels on life in the greenhouse massif and its heritage. The itinerary passes through a painted fresco which represents the history of the werewolf valley of the Angels Valley. In 1573, famine in the region was in the region, children were kidnapped and eaten… The Parliament of Dole allowed villagers to organize a hunting against this horrible werewolf. Gilles Garnier, a hermit living in the forest, is arrested and tried. Was he really the culprit? Historians are still questioning today. But this story is just a bad memory. Following the trail, we also learn about other, less frightening aspects of the greenhouse massif.

HOUSE OF THE JURA RURAL HERITAGE
Read moreHeritage is not only made up of historic buildings, castles, churches or other weapons of war, it is also shaped by the objects of daily life used by our ancestors. The Jura Rural Heritage Association has saved the destruction of machines and tools that retrace transformations and the gradual modernization of agriculture. It has also reconstituted workshops and artisan shops that make us discover the many professions around the agricultural world: cheese cheesemakers, cobblers, sabotiers… All the objects displayed testify to a great ingenuity that it is important not to erase collective memory. A visit that carries out beautiful history lessons and helps us better understand today's rural world.
