THE VIADUCTS OF MOREZ

Two viaducts stand out clearly from the town of Morez: one between Morbier and Morez, known as the Viaduc des Crottes, and the other between Morez and Saint-Claude, the Viaduc de Morez, a listed historic monument. But these are not the only structures in the region. To complete the railroad line, three tunnels were built, requiring architectural prowess to overcome the differences in altitude and relief, thus linking stations that are relatively close to one another.
