The Coni'Fer tourist train offers a magnificent ride through the heart of the Haut-Doubs countryside, at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. Aboard renovated Spoutnick carriages, pulled by a steam loco, you'll reach Fontaine Ronde from Les Hôpitaux-Neufs under the benevolent gaze of Montbeliarde cows. It's a picturesque journey, just as pleasant in the summer sunshine as it is when winter blankets the fir trees in its white coat. Once at the terminus, you'll need to take a 30-minute break to put the locomotive back on the right side of the train.

Open all year round. Hours and days of operation: see website. (Does not operate all year round). Nearest train station : Frasne, Vallorbe (in Switzerland), Pontarlier. Free until 6 years old. Adult : 12 €. Children (from 6 to 16 years old) : 6 €. Tickets can be bought at the Hôpitaux-Neufs station. 30/45 minutes round trip.
