The Théâtre Dijon-Bourgogne is one of the 33 national drama centres and offers, each year, a rich programme of plays to watch at the Salle Jacques Fornier or at Parvis Saint-Jean, an old church no longer dedicated to worship but which offers a majestic setting for classical plays and creations. From September to June, two performances are held each month for several days, allowing everyone to attend. Located at the entrance of rue Condorcet, a stone's throw from Place Darcy, this former cinema transformed into a theatre can accommodate about 500 people and hosts many shows. A sign inspired by the Roaring Twenties for a very eclectic programming throughout the year. French songs, jazz-inspired songs, comedians, plays: there's something for everyone. The Théâtre des Feuillants hosts many cultural events in conjunction with festivals such as À pas Contés, Tribu Jazz Festival, etc. In addition, the Association Bourguignonne Culturelle (ABC) has a programming priority and organises many long-awaited shows. In the 1930s, 210 rue d'Auxonne was a very popular dance hall, and since then, it has always been a success. For good reason: since 1987, the place has been offering an eclectic program that appeals to lovers of theatre, circus, humour, improvisation and music! In this human-sized venue, we are close to the artists and the emotions are palpable, and the audience is always there. The children have a program just for them and attractive prices allow all families to make the toddlers aware of the living culture. In short, a living room, with many local and regional artists to discover without fail!

The Grand Théâtre, together with the auditorium, composes the Opera Dijon ensemble. This hall, completed in 1828, is quite simply magnificent with a capacity of 1,000 spectators. Outside, eight majestic columns welcome you and invite you to enter this temple of the arts, which was last renovated in 2005. The chandelier that adorns the ceiling of the hall alone weighs 700 kg, and like all the chandeliers in the building, it is made of Murano crystal. The paintings are also superb, and the foyer is well worth a visit. The hall has been home to all the great works of the classical repertoire and French theatre. A magnificent place of Dijon's heritage!

Located in the lively Rue du Châtelet, Chez Maman doesn't go unnoticed. This restaurant and tea room is decorated in candy pink from floor to ceiling, and even outside on the carpeted terrace. You enter a neat, girly worldthat extends, with a great deal of humor, to the menu. The menu is sweet and savoury, with an American flair, led by the multi-flavoured pancake: poached egg, bacon, trout, salted butter caramel, maple syrup... As rare as it is notable in Chalon, you can eat sweet or savoury here continuously until 5pm.

After climbing up to the historic heart of the town of Autun, take a gourmet break in this delightful tearoom with its refined decor. The mother-daughter duo Annick/Axelle provide a truly enchanted interlude. While Axelle puts all her talent into preparing delicious sweets (entremets, viennoiseries, cookies...), her mother Annick serves with a smile. Each season has its own speciality. Here, we work the traditional way, using as many local products as possible. Cream, butter, flour and fruit come primarily from Burgundy.

A group of friends came up with the idea of opening Autour d'un verre - Le Bar. Located 100 metres from their first store, Autour d'un verre - La Cave, the bar reflects the image of the 5 friends: tender, friendly and lively. The Halles district has a newcomer in the shape of La Gobeleterie, on the corner of Rue Bannelier and Rue Quentin. Since summer 2022, owner Tristan Simon, a cocktail specialist, has been offering some twenty unique and original recipes worthy of shaker aficionados. And there's something for every taste: the fresh Loa Mota, mixing rum and fruit; the powerful White Trash Fashioned with bacon-infused whisky; and the chauvinistic Bourgogne Sour made with white Marc de Bourgogne. With aperitifs, non-alcoholic variations and the possibility of making classic cocktails on request, the world of mixology will soon hold no secrets for you!

This wine cellar, located on the outskirts of the village, is a must in the region. First and foremost for its selection of local and international wines, but especially for its events and tastings. The range on offer, which is not limited to wines, is rich and interesting, as you'll be looking for the very best, but also for value for money. Chérine Couesmes chose the Place de la Révolution to open her wine bar and take advantage of the cachet offered by the building's neo-Gothic vaults. An imposing counter takes center stage. It's a fitting setting for the 250 bottles of wine on offer to take away or consume on the premises. Prices by the glass start at €3 for a Sang Mêlé, rising to €25 for an Arvelet Pommard (with the option of halving for a 6cl half-glass).

Café de la Renaissance serves traditional French cuisine and local specialties. It also has a bar where you can enjoy refreshing drinks and aperitifs. The Café de la Renaissance is known for its warm, friendly atmosphere, as well as its friendly, attentive staff. You can relax on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the panoramic view. The café also organizes events throughout the year, such as concerts, art exhibitions and themed evenings.

Facing the cathedral, you feel at home here! This tea room offers cakes and pies, homemade creams and compotes as well as hot chocolates or Mariage Frères and Dammann teas. And if we come for lunch, we will be tempted by the quiches and savory pies, the bowls, the veloutés, again home-made. The day we came, we enjoyed a carrot velouté with passion fruit and coconut milk, then a sweet potato pie with Morteau sausage and gorgonzola. Note that exhibitions are also proposed.

Facing the Cordeliers parking lot, this establishment offers you its beers, wines and cocktails "of the moment". There are also new and unknown names. A small restaurant is also available to accompany your break with friends or family, at very reasonable prices. As for the reception, it is always friendly. Moreover, as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, the terrace is always full. Especially since the animations are regular, between concerts and sports broadcasts. The opportunity to have a very pleasant stop in the city center.

The living room tutoie the sweet chocolate pâtisserie that provides the tables of the small room and the terrace, so that you can enjoy the qualities of the multiple quiches (lorraine, salmon, spinach, roquefort and nuts, broccoli and chèvre, snails and morels…), the salmon pie (6,30 €) or a block in the crust with green salad (4,90 €). The tray formula includes a green salad, 1 quiche, white cheese and the day pastry. Dessert transforms this simple meal into a feast: the treasure, the Métis, the chef, the delicious craquante… you leave it astonishing (and a little ashamed?). Tea is served as a priority.

This bar-brewery is located opposite the Dauphine centre, the old shopping mall dating from the 70s which is currently closed for major works. Entirely renovated, the benches of the old brewery have been preserved, in a set with exposed stones and modern lighting. Opened in the spring of 2011, the Sahel is the only Moroccan tea lounge, which is a bar in Auxerre. Micropolis is the Spectacles Concert Hall. Its reception capacity and flexible spaces make it convenient for many events or concerts. You'll get bored on the occasion of the big annual meetings of Luna Park and the Fiera Franche (among others!) as well as at the concerts and one-man shows of our favorite national artists! On the practical side, the days of high crowds, when the all Besançon rush to a show, we appreciate the huge parking that allows to park easily and its situation at the gates of Besançon which facilitates access, even if it does not avoid the caps!

Openly gay friendly, the Café du Théâtre is very popular with students who enjoy the quiet terrace to enjoy a drink in the day. It is also the place of meetings of artists in the musical theatre. This brasserie is reminiscent of restaurants in the th century with its green iron display and its decor Eiffel. It is one of the most unique of the city and one of the most appreciated.
